Ray Brandt Toyota is an excellent Dealership.

My last two Toyota purchases have been with Ray Brandt Toyota and have been a very pleasing experience. The same salesmen sold me my 2nd Toyota this month. That is impressive to me because he was still employed there. Most other dealerships you do not see the same salesmen from year to year. All my needs were provided for my new car. Service and all personnel are very pleasant and professional. I have owned over 10 Toyota's in my lifetime and truly trust them. I highly recommend them to all and everyone.

Purchase of a new 2013 Toyota Rav 4

I owned a 1991 Toyota Tercel. (The vehicle was lost in 2005 in Hurricane Katrina). The mileage on this vehicle reached 191,000 plus. So I am very familiar and extremely pleased with Toyotas and the Toyota brand. I replaced that vehicle with a used 2002 Honda Civic LX. (Purchased from my sister). In deciding to purchase a new vehicle I chose Toyota. I like the safety standards of Toyota, the handling of the drive, and the comfort. My salesperson, at Ray Brandt Toyota on Veterans Blvd. in Metairie, Louisiana, was Mr. Greg Alexander. He worked to accomodate the needs I had in purchasing my new Rav 4. It was a pleasure to work with Mr. Alexander and his support team at Ray Brandt.

We had great service.So for so good on repair job.

Nice facilities, very pleasant staff

I experienced a little rough situation from the beginning of my search whether to lease again or purchase the car I had....I had to speak to a few employees of management. Maybe, it was a lack of proper communication on my part as to what I was looking for. Experience ended on a very pleasing note. I am looking forward to a good 3-year lease with more to come.

I looked at several hybrid models and decided on the Prius largely based on its excellent history. Then I looked at two local Toyota dealerships and decided on Ray Brandt because of its more favorable online reviews and the more comfortable general feeling I got from the salesman who contacted me after I had made an online inquiry. I visited the showroom and liked how bright and accessible it was, and the employees were friendly enough (the receptionist needs to make eye-contact more and slouch less, however). I met the salesman who initially contacted me, Bang Bui, who had a welcome low-key, low-pressure style and was knowledgeable. We looked at some options and I selected a vehicle that fit my requirements including a tight budget. I financed the purchase and the man who completed the paperwork, Danny (unfortunately, I did not get his last name), was thorough and helpful. I believe I got a good deal, but what prompted me to write this review is that the sales practices I saw today were refreshingly... ordinary, and I believe that should be encouraged when selling cars.

The main reason I am giving this rating is because of my...

The main reason I am giving this rating is because of my salesman Greg Alexander. I was treated better by the salesmen on the floor that weren't even involved with my new car purchase. (Some guy whose name I don't know ran and got me a bottled water after I had been there for four long hours....my salesman NEVER once offered to get me anything). Greg Alexander was rude, brash, and completely uninterested in customer service. Was only interested in making the deal and getting paid. I filled out an online request, filled out an online finance application, had a couple of conversations with Greg Alexander and explicitly explained to him that I didn't want to be at the dealership all day. I explained that I wanted a Camry, told him my price budget, told him all about my trade (a Corolla purchased there in 2010) and gave him all the information he needed to have a deal ready when I arrived for my appointment with him. I arrived at 12:30 on a Saturday and FIVE HOURS later he made the ultimate mistake when he tried to let me drive off the lot with a "brand new" Camry that had 200 miles on it, was a "dealer trade" from somewhere else, and clearly had an engine defect. He first claimed he never heard it, but he personally drove it off the lot to get it gassed up. How he didn't hear the engine knocking is beyond me. Then when we pointed out to Greg Alexander that the car didn't sound right and that the engine was knocking, he had the audacity to suggest that "that's how four cylinder cars sound." When we called the customer service manager out there (Richard Ray) he clearly thought something was wrong with the car and immediately told Greg Alexander to find me another Camry!!!!! To me, that was just the ultimate "I don't give a crap about my customers, I'm just here to make whatever deal I can." Thank you Richard Ray for making it right, thank you Alex (Salesman) for trying your best to help but Greg Alexander refused any help whatsoever when it was clear he was completely overwhelmed, and thank you to Jeff in the finance office for working out the deal. If you use this dealership, just make sure you steer clear of Greg Alexander. He really should be fired! Robin Castle Marrero, LA

We were interested in the current offers for the toyota...

We were interested in the current offers for the toyota Tundra and explained we were "just looking". James took the time to explain what they had to offer and run a few what ifs. Turns out the deal was to good to pass up and we now own a Black Tundra double cab. Danny was great with the financing and got us a great deal. All of the people at the store were friendly. We've purchased many cars and out of all those experiences I have to say this was one of the best. Charlie
