Leased a 2020 4runner last week from Kody Laird. Normally, I will go to at least 3 dealerships to get my best price. Kody was extremely easy to work with and accepted the price I was willing to pay. Great experience for a change. Thanks, Kody.

Looking out for customer

Went in for last inspection before completing lease. Thinking about a used car, but wound up with new bolt. Absolutely thrilled What a great deal. Paying less than our current payment who fiesntbkive that?

Terrible dealer, sales advertised that “disappear” when...

Terrible dealer, sales advertised that “disappear” when you get there. Service department that left me stranded and had to wait a month for a simple brake repair and refused to help. Just said “we’re busy”. Traded a vehicle for a new car, months later got a call from the FBI saying it was seized on the Mexican border and still registered in my name.

Great Experience!!

After visiting several dealerships in my area, I found Hoselton. I had't purchased a vehicle in over 15 years and wanted to just look around. All of the dealerships I went to wanted me to commit to a purchase before they would give me any info or let me test drive a vehicle. Hoselton was the one exception. Their sales person came out to the lot and asked if I needed any help. When I explained my situation, he gave me his card and said to just holler if I wanted to drive anything. When I came back a couple of days later to test drive, he was very polite and understanding. I test drove a couple of cars and said I still wasn't sure and he told me to call him when I was ready and if I didn't decide on one of his cars, that he understood that a vehicle is a large purchase that you have to be comfortable with. I went home and thought about it and then called him back. My purchase was smooth and easy.

Only one

The only dealer I deal with. Dave Lempert treats us like family every time we buy a car from Hoselton. This must be our 10th car. Bought our second Equinox and it just what we expected and wanted. Aside from signing way too many papers Dave made easy. Look forward to buying our next car.

Bought a new truck

Bought a trail boss, sales man was great got everything I wanted no hassles.yruck is running great so far. I f I have any issues I'm sure they will take care of it.

WORST DEALER I HAVE WORKED WITH

Originally gave them a great review and 5 stars, the purchase of the car went amazing, then since day 1 I have had issues with it: water in the trunk (fixed itself) passenger side taillight was foggy now has water (won't do anything about it) cruise control radar issues (they never find anything wrong yet keeps coming back, car loses braking power (again they found stored codes but did NOTHING... thats safe) steering was binding two days after i drove off the lot, they always claimed it felt good, not it got so bad the car is literally undrivable, finally decided to xxxx me with a $750 bill for an issue they dragged out and "it's not covered by warranty)Long story short they have a great sales team after after that they do not care about you as a customer nor the fact that you bought the car with issues, they do not stand behind their Toyota Certified Pre-Owned cars at all. My sister was looking to get a car at the end of 2020, and you can be certain i will definitely NOT allow her to go to Hoselton. They are by FAR the worst after purchase support I have EVER dealt with. If anything changes I will amend my review but the way things have gone these last two month I do not think that will be happening.

Good Options

Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Although, the process to purchase took quite a bit of time and required the movement between multiple buildings to interact with multiple people.

Lack of Integrity

Approximately 12 months ago I purchased a 2009 Cadillac CTS from Hoselton. I commute from Chicago every other week and simply needed a reliable used vehicle to travel back and forth to my work location in Bloomfield. I had only driven the vehicle 4,000 miles when the following issues developed. 1. The driver’s side door handle would not operate, 2. the check engine light was coming on / off intermittently, 3. the ABS / all-wheel drive / traction control service light was on. Additionally, I requested an oil change and tire rotation. I had to sign an agreement to charge $480 for diagnostics, which would go towards the repair in the event I elected to repair the vehicle. Two hours after dropping the vehicle off at the dealership the problems had been diagnosed and I was quoted $1,680 to repair the vehicle. I agreed to the repair and the cost. However, after picking up the vehicle and evaluating to specific charges, I began to question the service and the charges. Here are the facts... 1. A single service tech worked on the vehicle 2. From the drop off time to the call to me communicating the service was done was 8hrs 45min. I was charged 8.3 hours in labor, or $1,100. Therefore, the service tech did not take a break the entire day! 3. I was charged 3.5hrs in labor to change the microswitch in the driver’s side front door. There are three screws that hold on the door panel that grants access to the handle and switch. The total charge to repair the door was approximately $600! 4. The mass air flow sensor, which is easily accessible and held on by two bolts took 1.5hrs of labor. Additionally, I can buy the sensor for $60 directly from GM, yet I was charged $146 for the sensor or 143% more than the direct purchase cost. 5. A front wheel bearing had gone bad, causing the ABS / Traction Control / All-Wheel Drive service lights to come on. Approximately $200 for a new bearing and 2.6hrs in labor. 6. I was changed approximately $100 for the oil change and tire rotation. My conclusion is this...I was grossly overcharged for the repairs. I sought out the sales manager who connected me to Drew Hoselton who ultimately had the service manager, Wayne, contact me to let me know I was charged flat rates and that the dealership was unwilling to make any concessions. Hoselton's mission statement claims they are a fair and ethical company with integrity as one of the key pillars in their core values. I bought a car from Hoselton in good faith...yes, a USED car. After driving the vehicle only 4,000 miles, I thought it best to take the vehicle back to the dealership from where it was purchased, as I believed doing so maximized the PROBABILITY of fair treatment. Instead, the dealership has elected to hide behind the "non-published" flat rate labor guide and charge me for virtually EVERY SINGLE second that the car was in their possession while marking up the parts 150%. I'm only a single customer and my decision to never return will not damage their business. However, with today's means of communicating (blogs, social media, Yelp, etc...) these practices will eventually catch up with Hoselton and I will play my part in sharing my experience.
