Very responsive
I never made it in to Fred Beans, but only because I purchased a truck before I got to them. Their internet sales dept was very responsive to my question, contacted me very rapidly and was able to answer my questions during the initial call. I intended to come in and see the truck, but made a purchase before I got there.

Don't expect sales and finance depts to actually communicate as adults and you'll be fine. Don't make the mistake of asking to deal with one bank only and you'll be fine. As long as the finance team can shop you around for the best deal when you expressly ask not to do that, then you'll be fine. There should be a law against blasting out sensitive data to financial institutions when expressly requested not to.

Stressful decision transformed to an enjoyable one
Just bought a Chevy Volt. Salesperson, Zachary was the Wikipedia of cars, always available, courteous and helpful all around. Just Super!
Just an overall fantastic experience. I stopped on my lunch break and happened to find the exact car I wanted. I did a quick preliminary with my trade and a drive and went back to work. By the end of the day I could pick up my car with under 1 hour of paperwork necessary. Allen in sales made the exchange flawless and Kevin in finance really was looking out for my best interests. A 10 of 10 experience and the best part is i get points based on my purchase that I can use as cash toward my next Fred Beans experience.

I will not go back.
I went to the dealer ready to buy a car, and no one acknowledged me nor provided me with any assistance. Additionally, to my dismay, prices were higher than other dealers. Save yourself the trip.

If this had been part of the Car Buying Olympics , our experience would have been rated a perfect score ! Rob Ferguson was the rep that we initiated our visit with and he and all of his associates, from the general manager and numerous others who assisted with necessary details to complete our buying experience , were " top notch " !! Easy Purchasing Experience
One of the nicest, customer-focused experiences I had purchasing a car. A price was reached over the phone subject to a trade that died in the parking lot. Dan Sweeney worked through the issues and I drove the car home at the agreed to price. We have purchased vehicles from other area dealers as well as dealers in other states over the last 30 years - this is the only dealer that we purchased a second vehicle from. The fact that we came back without a hesitation speaks volumes to the Fred Beans culture - BRAVO!

Follow up Customer Service Horrible
I purchased from this dealer based on a recommendation from a friend who has bought many cars from them. I found the truck on line and traveled one and half hours from central Philadelphia. I purchased a 2005 Chevy Tahoe from the dealer and have owned it for seven months at the time of the review. I absolutely love this truck. The reason for the bad review is the inability of the staff as a whole to provide great follow up service. Once they got the money the attitude was perceived as "Why are you bothering me?" Two days after purchasing the truck the water pump malfunctioned. This did not upset me because it is in reality a high mileage older truck. I called the salesman and asked what to due. My call was never returned. I called again and the salesman would not take my call and instead put me on with someone in service. The service advisor was rude and dismissive of my claims about the water pump. I collect and work on classic cars, so I know enough about vehicles to get me by. I asked if they were going to provide a loaner car since I had to travel such a far distance. The service adviser stated no because "We have already sunk a lot of money into this vehicle!" So instead now I had to get my pregnant wife, load up our two children under the age of five, and tie up my family for approximately six hours to travel to and from this dealer. It also took several calls and about five months for me to receive the tag registration and for the bank to get the title. I would never go to this dealer again.
