Totalled our car and taking ZERO accountability
We have been customers of Davis Acura for nearly a decade. Starting nearly two weeks ago our opinion and satisfaction with this dealership has changed drastically. We dropped off our car for a basic checkup. The next day, as we prepared to pick up the car we got a call from them saying that the vehicle was damaged while parked on their lot. Turns out this was MAJOR damage...likely meaning that our 2001 Acura is now totaled. From that moment forward their team has changed their story of how it happened several times, they have been caught in their own lies, they have lacked clarity on the repair/replacement process, and have been exceedingly frustrating to work with over the last few days especially. UPDATE: it is now OVER TWO WEEKS since our car was totaled while in the possession of Davis Acura. I say totaled because my personal insurance policy was activated to cover THEIR damages to our car. The owner himself, Glenn Davis, reached out to us and offered to do whatever he could do to make this right. Quite impressive...I felt something was going to happen now that the owner of a respected dealership was personally aware of the issue. Well that has not been the case. We expressed what we needed...we are reasonable, we are not asking for a free car...which many feel is within our rights. We are asking them to make us an excellent deal (ok maybe they lose a small amount of money) on a car they have on their used lot. This is a reasonable request en lieu of all the trouble, miscommunication, misdirection, lack of accountability...we wont even mention the fact that we now need to take on car payments as a result of their negligence. Remember the facts: 1) we gave them our car in good faith 2) their insurance was so poor it would not cover the cost of damages to our car 3) they have offered time and time again to do whatever they can to make this right for us 4) and then continue to drag this out leaving us wondering if their intention is to stick us with the entire expense of their accident As it turns out, point #4 is spot on...now their position is that they are unwilling to take a loss on a car. I'm sorry...Davis Acura expects us to take the entire cost on ourselves...that is unacceptable. I will find a new Acura dealer and vote with my money. YOU SHOULD TOO...lest you be left holding the bill for their negligence. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS

My family keeps returning to Davis Acura to purchase our vehicles because they treat us extremely well, have competitive pricing, and add extra touches that other dealers don't offer. While I was deployed with the Air Force, my husband approached Ed, the manager, who led my husband to Rob. Rob was outstanding, asking my husband to help select the right Acura RDX for me. I had an older Acura and really wanted to stay with the same vehicle because the RDX was so reliable. My husband and Rob set everything up and a few days after my return, the whole Davis Acura team made sure delivery was fast and quick. Rick and Frank wrapped things up and brought me to my new RDX. It was a wonderful experience. When the time comes to replace this RDX, I will definitely return to Davis. They treat you like family.

Worth the drive
I took a 3-hour drive up from Washington, DC to get to Davis Acura -- I saw one of their certified pre-owned Acuras advertised on the internet at an excellent price, and figured taking a day off was worth it. I wasn't disappointed. Jack Grimes and Dan Conner were both excellent, and the car was exactly as advertised.

Throughout my car buying process, I was in contact with Rich Conti and Ed Riley at Davis Acura. These two gentleman were absolutely incredible in assisting me to find the vehicle that best suited my interests/needs. Their guidance, relationship building, and customer service skills were unparalleled. They were always available for any questions I may have had and their professionalism was superior to all other dealers I was in contact with. If you're in the market for an Acura, I HIGHLY recommend reaching out to Rich Conti and Ed Riley. You would be doing yourself a disservice not to!!

Great experience
Tim and Dan worked hard to get me into the car I was looking for. I'm very pleased with the overall experience. I came with approval from a company but Dan explained in detail how my financing structure was not best for me by laying out the pros and cons and worked to get me a better financial arrangement which included GAP insurance. The purchase process was very straightforward and transparent. I'm very happy with the experience and would, and have already, gladly recommended them to others.

a nice honest and friendless dealership
I came in and Alice who was my dealer helped me very fast and efficient. She was honest and she seemed genuine about wanting to get me in something nice and something I should love. I took the first car we looked at and I love it it truly fits me. Dan who was the financial advisor/manager was very honest he even has the car I chose so he gave me a lot of positives about my car and I'm glad I could talk to him about it and get his opinion
