Didn't buy my car from this dealer but I can confirm that their service department is a nightmare to deal with...at least from my personal experience. I have a 2021 Kona and the engine went at 27k. Since they are the closest dealer, Hyundai told me that it needs to be towed there. On Tuesday evening, spoke to a someone from the dealer who informed me that their earliest appointment would be May 9th, over a month away. It's already stressful enough having your engine fall apart on your two year old car at 27k miles, but to then be told that they won't even LOOK at it for over a month is insane. Who care about that stupid 100k mile warranty if you're without a car for a couple months. Employee told me he was going to speak to his manager about getting an earlier appointment. He told me that I would hear back from his manager that day or first thing the following morning. Next day comes, no contact. Fast forward to today and I get a call/voicemail from an employee who said, "I was told to call you back because something's wrong with your car, our soonest appointment is May 9th...". Apparently, there's some serious disconnect with communication between their employees. I tried one more time, woman answered and told me that they aren't taking any "big jobs" until after May 9th. If I needed an oil change, they would get me in sooner but for anything like this, I would need to wait and basically be without a car for months, which is crazy. She then clarified if I bought my car from them, which I didn't, and told me to contact the dealer than I bought the car from. So basically...you'll get treated like a second-rate customer if you did not purchase your vehicle directly from them. This experience really made me NEVER want to purchase a vehicle from them in the future. Thanks Conicelli for the let down and unprofessionalism. I'm not sure if I can still recommend Hyundai (I'll have to see what happens with my car), but if you're going to buy a Hyundai, I'd recommend doing it at one of the other dozen dealerships in the Philadelphia area.

We want to be realistic here and advise you that at this time, we have a large backlog of engine work in our shop. Our first appointment for your veihicle would not be until 5/9/23. We can recommend you contact your selling dealer or a dealer close to your residence, and perhaps they would be able to assist you sooner. This response completely neglected the poor communication from your service team. Being realistic, it's disturbing to hear that there is such a large backlog of engine work at your shop alone and seems to confirm my suspected poor reliability of Hyundai and their engines. I would have your salespeople stop bragging about your 100k mile warranties if your service shops are too busy to actually fix these apparent unreliable vehicles in a reasonable timeframe. Though this experience and response has not at all helped address my issues, I appreciate you confirming my concern that these vehicles are too unreliable for purchase. Since Hyundai will only tow my vehicle to the closest dealership, which is unfortunately yours, I will continue to attempt to resolve my issue with the actual Hyundai Corporate of America. Good luck with all of your backlog of engine issues. Shame that your business sells such poor vehicles.
Had the same problem with my oil light popping on and he
Had the same problem with my oil light popping on and he said we changed the gasket 2 months ago you can get the oil changed it could be just a leak. We Can't do no more than change your oil, even if is something more wrong with your car, that pertains to the oil gasket. Next appointment is May if you want a master mechanic to look at it. So I he wanted me to come pay for a oil change and I still have the problem! Really I am over them!
