Friendy service writer. I had an oil change and tire rotation done. It could have been done a little quicker but overall I am happy with the service.

The service department is typically quick with getting
The service department is typically quick with getting their customers in and out within an hour and a half (scheduled appointment times). However, I have had to wait 3 hours for my vehicle to get an oil change for two appointments now. Both times I had the same service provider (Vicki). Communication was poor.

Brought vehicle in shortly after purchase for scheduled
Brought vehicle in shortly after purchase for scheduled window tinting. When I got home, I noticed trails of residue had run down the outside of all doors and spray residue was all over the dash, console and door areas. None of it had been cleaned up. Sloppy follow thru. My new car purchase experience was excellent until then.

Cody Mills in the service department did an absolutely
Cody Mills in the service department did an absolutely amazing job on my vehicle. I have an older Chevy and care for it very much being it my only form of transportation. I took it into Gateway Chevy service and worked with Cody Mills and the service was 10/10 kept my car in great shape, did exactly what was asked and even helped me understand whats to come! I felt very good and very confident driving my vehicle for the first week after it's major service with them. Runs better than ever! The mechanics did a really good job and I truly feel like they handled the car as if it were their own. Thank you Cody and the guys and gals at Gateway I appreciate you

They missed a chip in the door.
They missed a chip in the door. I let it go because it was small and this was the third time I was at the dealership for the repair. The associate inspected the rental I used while my car was being worked on. The associate inspected the car very thoroughly. When I took the car, he didn't look at it at all. He found the world's smallest dent in the door. I couldn't see it. I had to feel the car to detect the tiny depression. Now I'm on the hook for the cost to repair something that was likely already on the car when I picked it up. To add insult to injury, I didn't want to take my new car home the day I bought it because it needed repairs. The sales associate was so invested in my taking the car that I capitulated because I was worried he would get a demerit for not sealing the deal.
