Great cars, great service!

Tony helped me out from the get-go. He called me back when he said he would; he was reasonable and polite. We drove 2 hours for our LIKE-NEW Ford Edge Sport and he had it ready and waiting. Quality cars, quality facility. After sales, he followed through with a friendly phone call to say thanks and to be sure we knew he was there if there were any issues. THANK YOU!! LOVE.OUR.CAR.

Service policy change

After buying two new RX350s and having them serviced at Koons of Wilmington we were disappointed to learn that the dealer would no longer pick up our vehicle for an oil change and tire rotation as they have in the past. This was a prime consideration in buying the second car at Koons

Great experience

GREAT EXPERIENCE

I just purchased a Lexus from Lexus of Wilmington and am extremely happy. I had found the best price Lexus online and contacted Doug from Lexus who assisted me with trading in a leased car and purchasing my new car. I drove from NJ to Wilmington mainly because of the pricing AND because I felt that Doug really went the extra mile to assist me with trading in a leased car that had payments remaining. Overall the staff was amazing. Doug and Brian were very professional, patient and kind, along with the other staff members. I will definitely refer Lexus of Wilmington and return for another Lexus

Very happy

I’ve updated my review to 5 stars because all of my issued have been addressed by management at Koons Lexus. In my opinion the best way to rate a business isn’t how they react when things go great, it’s how they react when things don’t go like they should. I can say with 100% certainty that this dealership is a respectable business that values their customers and their reputation. We will be purchasing our next vehicle from them. So, let’s start at the beginning. I purchased a Jeep from their used sales department in November of 2014. The car is beautiful and we’re extremely happy with it. We were able to purchase an extended warranty that will cover the Jeep until there are over 100,000 miles on it. I filled out the paperwork and left with the Jeep. We got a phone call to come back down because there was a problem with the paperwork. There was an issue with the cost of the extended warranty and the dealership took ownership of the error an honored the original price I was quoted and I was able to finance the warranty interest free. In the end I actually ended up with a lower monthly payment then I was originally quoted. About a week later I got a FedEx in the mail because the dates were wrong on the paperwork, so a few more signatures and we were all set. I did review all the paperwork and they weren’t playing a “bait & switch”. They were just simple, clerical errors that can happen to anyone. It really wasn’t a big deal, and the inconvenience was minimal. (And, I actually got to skip a payment in December since the paperwork wasn’t right so that helped with Christmas!) Since I live in PA and purchased the car in DE I had to get it inspected in PA, and Koons Lexus was going to reimburse me for the cost of inspection and all repairs. I was told this verbally and given it in writing. I was told to take the Jeep to my normal mechanic and forward them the bill. The mechanic advised me that in order to pass inspection the Jeep would need new brakes, rotors resurfaced and a new power steering line. I called the dealership and was told they needed to pull my paperwork and would call me back. The manager (Chris) said to go ahead with the work. After the work was done, he had an issue with the brakes being replaced. After some back and forth, I got in contact with Leigh who put me in contact with Jason. Jason asked me to bring the parts down to him. I did that, and was extremely happy with the result of our conversation. As it turns out, the mechanic took advantage of me, and Jason explained everything clearly. They would have passed inspection, and the brakes should not have been replaced. Jason contacted the mechanic on my behalf, but was having a problem getting in contact with anyone who would assist him. Since I called to check with the dealership prior to authorizing the work, they did agree to cover the cost of the repairs and take up the issue with the mechanic. So, even though the work shouldn’t have been done the staff at Koons Lexus took care of me and I honestly feel they have their customers best interest at heart. At the end of the day what more can you ask of a business? They hold their employee’s accountable for their errors, they take great care of their customers, they value lasting relationships and they take great pride in being a highly rated car dealership.

WAY TO GO!!!

Terry and Doug were excellent in handling the purchase of my 2015 RC350 S Sport...There friendliness was very welcoming and made this purchase quite comfortable...My wife and I were pleased with their expertise in making us less nervous in this major purchase...I would highly recommend dealing with Koons dealership in the ongoing future and would highly recommend others doing the same...Thanks so very in making this a memorable experience for both my wife and I...PEACE!!!

Great sales & service experience

I leased my first Lexus SUV 2006 GX460 and loved it, Then I went in a tested the Rx350 and loved that as wells so much so that I leased 2 of them. I'm now due to go for my 4th car from Koons and this year with all the new models it looks like its going to be hard to decide which one will win me over. One thing for sure is that Lexus of Wilmington will get my business. The staff starting with Leigh who always makes me feel so welcome there and the sales team that assisted me starting with Lance Bartell and then Don Nye made sure I understood how everything worked in each car before I left the lot. Now that Lance & Don have retired I look forward to working on my new purchase with Koons newest addition to their sales team Natalie Bloom. I also must mention the excellent service that I have always received when bringing my Car in for service. Both Mo & Dan in the service dept display great attention to detail and I'm especially impressed how quickly they provide transportation for me while my car is being serviced. Great Job Koons, Wonderful Experience!!!

Lexus Purchase

I purchased my Lexus RX350 at the end of December 2014. It was a wonderful experience! The sales department is phenomenal. Pernell Pressey and Kevin Glenn were so helpful and informative. There was no pressure at all. It was smooth from start to finish. My husband and I had a challenging time sinking the gargage door button in the Lexus to our garage door at our home. Matthew Stern, the technology specialist with Lexus of Wilmington came to our home and walked us through the process. Wow! Everything was outstanding!

No Hassle sales approach & great customer service

I had 3 great leasing experiences at Lexus of Wilmington. Each Car more advanced then the one before. The sales people all 3 times knew their product well and made sure I understood how to use all the features 100%. I wont buy a Lexus anywhere else.
