Hendrick Chevrolet Shawnee Mission

At first I thought this was going to be a great experience. However after an appointment had been set (I live an hour away and my son had taken a day off work) I called to verify and was told the car was in another shop (Ford dealer, so they said) waiting on parts. They called the next day and said the car was ready The ADVERTISED price on every social media platform was $5,977. My son took off work again and went to inspect and test drive the vehicle. He was pleased with the vehicle so I asked them to proceed with the paperwork. When I received the paperwork the selling price had gone up to $6,977, $1,497 in additional "added features" had been included and a $699 dealer fee was included. Total price went up to $9,173. Fortunately I hadn't made the second trip, it was all done on the phone. If this isn't bait and switch, I'm not sure what to call it other than usery! Terrible business practices so please be aware of what you're getting into.

I was charged 685.00 labor for a job that took two hours to complete. When I asked what the hourly rate was he said 160-180 an hour. Complete and total ripoff. I will never purchase or service a vehicle here again.

699$ doc fee on all vehicles. Beware this is pure profit for the dealership. A lot of similar dealers only charge 199$ Doc fee. Please Hendricks explain why this fee is so high at your location.
