Awful experience trying to purchase a vehicle

Recently was shopping for a Lincoln MKZ and found one online at Patrick Volvo. On Saturday, Mary sent me a few emails and the packet online with the pictures and Carfax. Brandon sent a video. Brett was the main salesman who gathered my information I was informed by Brett that I needed to do a hard credit pull and answer a few questions. I obliged and they ran my credit the following Wednesday. The same day, the bank called my phone to verify my info. Later on in the evening, Brett sent an email stating that I was approved of the loan. The next day, Thursday, I called Brett. No answer. I left voice messages, emails, and text messages. No response. Friday morning, Brett finally text back and stated that the car has been sold. THIS WAS A TERRIBLE BUSINESS EXPERIENCE. I gave my info and permission to run my credit, I was approved of the loan, I tried to contact him to no response and several hours later he sold the car. What's more amazing is that no superiors overlooked this to at least give me a courtesy call to tell me anything about it. I guess they didn't care about wasting my time or doing a hard pull on my credit, which now takes away a few points for absolutely nothing. Word to the wise, if they run your credit, make sure you talk to a top supervisor and tell them to send some type of assurance that they don't sell it after you've been approved. In fact, try to get a soft inquiry so that you don't go through what happened to me. Just awful practice.

2023 Volvo XC40 B5 Ultimate Dark - Tola Akinola

A perfect example of how buying a car should feel, AMAZING! Tola Akinola was awesome! Ask for Tola if you are at this location. Seriously. He was knowledgeable, fair, and most importantly, PATIENT. The entire Schaumburg staff was incredible, thanks again! Loving my new 2023 Volvo XC40 B5 Ultimate Dark in Silver Dawn!

Amazing buying experience

We recently had an amazing experience with Mo Khan and his team at the Patrick Volvo dealership in Schaumburg IL, and I have to say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we walked into the showroom, Mr Khan was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He took the time to understand our needs and helped us find the perfect car for our lifestyle and budget. What really impressed us was the level of transparency throughout the entire process. The team was up front and honest about the prices, financing options, and any additional fees. This made the experience stress-free and enjoyable. I was extremely impressed with the level of service that I received from Mr. Khan. He went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy with out purchase and even followed up with us after the sale to ensure that everything was going well. Overall, I highly recommend Mo Khan at Patrick Volvo to anyone in the market for a car. Their exceptional customer service, knowledge, and professionalism make them stand out from the rest. Volvo XC 90

We just purchased recently brand new 2023 XC 90-B6 fully loaded with new google system, which is fantastic system. Patrick's Volvo delivery the car about month earlier they supposed to with quick and fantastic process and whole service!!! Thank you very much to all people involved in sale for great service and special thanks to Brett Johnson, he is amazing guy!!! Volvo forever!!!

Great Car Buying Experience

No nonsense in negotiating my 2023 XC90. I bought from Dallas Tx and the process from that far away was seamless; and simple to transact due to excellent communication by Tola throughout the process. I was very pleased and am a very detailed person during a process. Great job Tola and Patrick!!

Waste of time

Absolute waste of time. Corresponded with "John" over several text messages. I was told too many things to list here but he convinced me to drive to the dealership (by appointment). I made the trip only to talk to another salesman that was much to busy to actually talk to me. He asked what I was looking for, I told him the car that "John" said was there. This salesman said no, we don't have that car but I do have a different one you can see. This one is literally the absolute opposite of what I drove out there for. AND it could not be test drove because it had ZERO charge and 5 miles of fuel in it. AND was to go with yet a different salesperson that had no clue on how to start the car to check the fuel or charge level. This was apparently the old dealer bait and switch game. Tell whatever you want the hear to get you to the dealership then bull there way around in hopes you are an idiot and will fall for their crap.
