Best Car Buying Experience I have ever had

I don't have the best credit, or the best Trade In. But Shawn McGreevy my sales agent went out of his way. Way Way out of his way to give me the best car buying experience I have ever had, and I have had a lot of them. He is a friendly, super knowledgeable sales agent, and I am so happy that I had him to help me through my car buying experience. He even went out of his way and helped me on his day off from home. He responded to all of my questions and concerns immediately, there was no waiting around for answers. He worked fast and sent me home in my new car within hours of me showing up to test drive it. I would recommend sending everyone I know to see him at Jeff Wyler Honda in Florence, even my own mother and children. Thank you Shawn, I will PAY IT FORWARD!

Great car buying experience

What a welcoming environment! The salesman was busy, but came up to me and assured me he would be able to help me in a few minutes. And he did! It was much better this time than three years ago when I came in to buy a car. I was looking for a newer used or new Honda. I left with a brand new Honda Sport. The salesman, John Booth, was professional, full of information, able to answer my questions and best of all, not pushy. I was even allowed to take the car for a few hours to see if I liked it. This was a great car buying experience!

Unexepected Great Service

My husband and I arrived at the dealership to test drive a 2012 Honda Accord and John Booth was there to greet us. When we made the appointment we were to meet someone else but they did not show up so we worked with John. John was very down to earth and friendly. He showed us the car we found online (plus a few others we jotted down) and let us test drive it. Everything was nice but it was missing a feature we wanted. When we asked John what year or trim models had the feature, he took us to a 2014 Honda LX. We test drove that and it was also very nice. We ended up purchasing the 2014 car. John was very informative with helping us make the hopefully right decision and we felt no pressure to even have to buy that day but in the end we did. He was personal in that we learned about him and his family and he learned about ours. John definitely did not show the stereotypical pushy salesman personality I was prepared to deal with. He was the complete opposite.

First time buying a new car.

I graduated college about three years ago and I was ready to cash in on my hard work with a brand new car. This was my first time buying a car on my own, so the process was pretty foreign to me. I started working with Shawn McGreevy. I want to start this review off by telling you how great of a person he is. He genuinely treated me like a friend he's known for years and never once pressured me into something I wasn't ready for. I was a salesman's worst nightmare, I visited about once every two weeks for about 2 months. Shawn gave me his personal cell phone to call for any questions I had; it was a fantastic experience. One of the days I came to visit, Shawn wasn't there, and a man named Sami Gouda assisted me with some test driving. Sami was pleasant to talk to, and allowed me to talk and think out loud while offering his own personal opinion. I ended that day talking about financials with David Barnhart. I was trying to decide between trading in my Civic or selling it to a family friend. I asked David to give me a quick estimated trade in value based purely on the miles and VIN of my car. He came back with a confident price range between $3,500 and $4,000 dollar trade in value. This is where my experience took a turn for the worst. After I decided on what car I was going to buy and it came down to finalizing all the numbers, a man named Dan Hollenkamp came to talk to me. I had decided to trade in my car, expecting at least $3,500 trade in value (as I had turned down family friends thinking I would get this amount). Hollenkamp then sat down and said that they would only offer me $800! I became quite flustered, someone had lied to me, either Barnhart or Hollenkamp. We then spent about 10 minutes trying to figure out who had told me the original offer, all the while Hollenkamp was assuring me it was an unbiased program they used that only took the VIN number and mileage into consideration. I found this quite amusing considering this is the exact information I gave Barnhart a week earlier and he told me $3,500. What made me more upset is I had a lined up buyer for $3,000 that I denied based on their previous offer. At the end of the day, we were able to close the gap to an acceptable deal, but it was very frustrating and insulting to be treated like this. Had I known their actual trade in offer, I would have sold it to the family friend. Ultimately, thanks to McGreevy's unparalleled customer service, I would say I had a good first time car buying experience. Do you homework ahead of time and Shawn will make it happen at your own pace. Just be wary of trade in offers from Barnhart or Hollenkamp. They are clearly not on the same page, and one of them was straight lying to me. My parents are looking to purchase a Pilot in the upcoming years, and I'll definitely be pointing them to McGreevy.

Buying our new Honda

Our experience purchasing our new Honda was made easy by our salesman, Chad Jasper, he made our buying a car the best one we have had. He was helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and polite. We were able to test drive and get all our questions answered. He was very informative and took his time with us, there was no pressure. Great Experience

Chad and Dan were great at helping us buy our van. We got a good price and the negotiations were friendly. Chad also spent the time to explain the electronics of the vehicle. We would go back to Chad to purchase another vehicle and will recommend him to friends and family.

Our first Jeff Wyler experience

This was our first purchase with Jeff Wyler Dealerships. There is a reason why they are so successful. Jeff Wyler must hand pick all of his associates. Our salesman, Chris Hamm, was fantastic! He got the job done, made us very happy, and created a sale. We went to Honda in Florence and purchased a used vehicle.
