Stereotypical, high pressure, hostage situation
Wow, from the initial phone call to the moment I peeled out of there the high pressure was on. Even if there was a car I wanted, the smelly office, poor communication, pressure sales pitch was enough to keep me from ever stepping foot in there again.

Amazing from begining to End
Thank you so Much Christopher Nicholson for making our experience so wonderful. Truthfully buying a car is never a fun thing to do ( Unless you are paying cash ) because there are so many dealers out there who try to put you in what they want to sell, not what you want. You were a new kind of car salesman. I told you I wanted the most expensive loaded Outlander Sport & I wanted a certain payment. I also threw you a lower credit score. In less than 5 minutes you came back to the table with a smile. I was shocked. That was the quickest I have ever bought a car. You stayed late to make sure we could take the car home that same night. I promise we will be sending all our friends to you. Thank you for not being your BASIC car salesman. You are awesome.

An Ok experience
I purchased one of their luxury vehicles with a trade in. The Internet salesperson was very nice but wasn't organized with the pricing. They gave me pricing for another car. They worked diligently with me and the financing bank to get me approved on agreed terms. I realized that they advertised the car with 2k miles less than the actual mileage which puts me closer to the warranty expiration. I asked that they reduce the price and they said "no". Once we negotiated the extended warranty, they gave me pricing on two coverage and the least covered warranty was more expensive than the best coverage warranty...If I had to refer a friend to a dealership, this would be my last choice because their are other dealerships that are willing to work with you as a buyer.

It's Not Good Policy to Lie to Customers!
I saw a 2006 Lexus LX470 from Planet Automotive on Cars.com. I wanted to purchase the SUV and contacted Planet Automotive via email. A salesman contacted me by phone. I made an offer for the SUV. The salesman indicated he will review the offer with his finance manager and call me back. I told him I'm a motivated buyer from Raleigh. I did not hear from him for a couple of days. He then texted me and told me that the SUV was sold. A couple of days later, I notice the SUV was still available on the Planet Automotive website. I called the dealership. A salesman indicated the SUV was still available. I then waited a few more days and checked the website again. The SUV was still on the website. I called the dealership and another salesman indicated the SUV was still available. The salesman asked if I wanted a test drive. It's not a good policy to lie to customers.

Poor Customer Service
I saw a 2006 Lexus LX470 from Planet Automotive on Cars.com. I was interested in purchasing the SUV. I contacted Planet Automotive to inquire about the SUV and to negotiate a price. I live 3 hours from the dealership. I wanted to establish the purchase price, arrange my finance, and drive to the dealership to pickup the SUV. I made an offer to the salesperson. He indicated he would review my offer with his finance manager. I didn't hear from him for a couple of days. He then text me a message to indicate the SUV was sold. A couple of days later, I notice the same 2006 Lexus LX470 was still for sale on their website. I contacted Planet Automotive and a different salesperson indicated the SUV was still available. I waited a few more days and contacted the dealership again. Another salesperson indicated the SUV was available and asked if I wanted to schedule a test drive. It's an interesting sales strategy; ignore and mislead the customers who want to make a purchase.

My husband and I....BTW terrible credit...and kids decided to take a leap of faith here. After 3 days we have a brand new 2015 Mitsubishi mirage. Don't let that discourage you. I was the mean wife that let her Puerto Rican side out a little. Gus you probably know exactly who I am haha. I see people complaining about their certain experiences. Are some accurate? Yes but hold that thought...one thing I see is they are rude....I saw these people for the last three days 6 and a half hours...and did not spot a single rude sales person nor manager and believe me we met them all. I may have gotten upset and discouraged at points but honestly car buying is never satisfying or fun unless your parents are buying for you lol. These people will offer the skin off their backs for you. You have to stick threw it and fight and they will fight for you. If you were in their position you'd understand they need the sale as bad as you need the car. If you show integrity they will help as best they can. They never never told me the top thing I've always heard from a dealership "sorry we can't help you." They try every obstacle and are so fun and respectful. Times are hard they understand. We had Brandon. He was awesome. He would buy my kids drinks and always check on us during a wait. Gus, sterling and I mean all of the managers fought tooth and nail even threw whether my hissy fits were visable or not. Yesterday I was angry yes...today I pulled it together and saw it from their prospective and stayed positive and open. I have never been to a dealership and felt like I was actually cared about. Good people. Frustrating sometimes? Yes but everyone can be frustrating. Just keep swimming.....I swear that's what was going threw my mind and look? Terrible credit ya had to put money down but you know what? We now have a SAFE vehicle for our kids and we are happy. So just keep swimming :) thank you guys for helping us we are extremely grateful.

Worse experience ever.... Crooks
This happen to be the worst place on the Planet to buy a car, when they overcharge you, talk down to customers and ignore your request. I buy a car here they tell me I have a referral guarantee and they have been ignoring me since my friend purchased a car here, leave messages that are never returned. Had I not referred her you wouldn't have had a sale from her and this is fake advertisement... Almost like fraud... When you call they answer the phone and put you in hold and act as if they are actually goin to connect you to talk with someone... This is horrible I wouldn't advise anyone to purchase a car from here because they don't hold up to their word and customer service is unprofessional.

Awesome service
My wife & I recently purchased a new Mirage from Planet Mitsubishi in Charlotte. After searching online for about a week we decided to go to Planet. It was absolutely the best experience we ever had purchasing a new vehicle. Special thanks to Jamin Glenn who was a complete professional throughout the entire buying process. They also carry many hi-line vehicles at the dealership. My wife is interested in a pre-owned Land Rover so they let us speak to Jeff ( JT ). Apparently he is the expert on Land Rovers and told us ALL about them. It's almost like he works for Land Rover as he knew everything about every model they make. Thanks again to all of the professional staff that assisted us & we will definitely purchase here again.........
