Our second time dealing with Carl Black in Nashville.
Our second time dealing with Carl Black in Nashville. The first time wasn't the best, but this made up for it. Having service there for so many years and trusting the service person I deal with I asked who to go to when we wanted to trade, he told me Terrence so we followed his advise and are very glad we did. Now, buying a car currently isn't what it use to be, not a lot of them there to see and drive, so you are going on blind faith. We knew what we wanted, it was just finding one available. Terrence went above and beyond to make this happen, although it took longer than he thought it would to get it, he made sure we had the right sized loaner until ours came in. Extremely professional, calm and polite, he took away our dread of dealing with a "sales man" and made us better about the whole ordeal. I do wish I could say the same about Bob, but that's another story and was not in Terrence's control. When the time comes we will return to work with him again, someone should give the man a raise! It was an all day event and he was dealing being doubled booked and still kept his cool.

Kiante was the best!
Kiante was the best! I told him I was just starting my look for a new vehicle. I am interested in a Traverse or a Tahoe. He brought the vehicles out front for me to examine before the test drive. There was no pressure sales talk. I hope to return to Carl Black Chevrolet when I’m ready to purchase a vehicle because of the positive experience.

They charged me $2995 + taxes for a "Care Package" that I
They charged me $2995 + taxes for a "Care Package" that I didn't request. This wasn't even itemized on the invoice. I had knowledge of this service/product after the invoice was signed. I reached out to the dealership numerous times to have my money back. They never get back to me. I purchased the car on April 6th and it was delivered on April 27th. They assured me that the invoice was accurate and they didn't add anything else but the cost of the car as per the window sticker, taxes and accessories. On April 7th, after insisting multiple times that the total amount wasn't matching my calculations, they said that a "care package" was included. I asked them to return my money back with no feedback. I'm reaching GM directly. This is a SCAM.

Poor management
Went to Carl Black to get a basic oil change. They left my oil filler open and being as it’s a 6 month old vehicle I never opened the hood to check, not that I should need to. However, I did open the hood to add washer fluid, that they did not fill at all, and noticed the cap off. I headed to the dealership first thing the next morning. All I wanted was for the dealer to acknowledge their mistake and flush the engine to get rid of any potential dirt that definitely made its way into the engine. There’s no telling what went in there and how much time this has taken off of the life of the engine. The dealership proceeded to charge me for a complete oil change and tire rotation…and told me “we gave you $10 off of our regular price” After talking to the service manager who was not friendly I went and talked to a sales manager that apologized and said he would refund my credit card for the charges….well, surprise…he lied. They will never get my business again, shame for them as we are acquiring at least 6 company vehicles in the next 6 months.
