Do NOT buy from Motorcars of Lansing!!!

Don’t EVER buy a vehicle from Motorcars of Lansing. They sold me a truck with a bad transmission. 3 months later it went out completely. They took advantage of me not having car knowledge. I’ve spent a total of 16 hours in the waiting room being toyed around. The mechanic admitted that the truck was showing signs that the transmission was going out before selling. I also have picture proof of them using a permanent marker covering up rust spots and paint chips on a hood of vehicle they were “detailing” to sell. They constantly had interruptions and not a single person would focus on just one thing at a time. It took days and multiple calls to even get ahold of someone. If you want a reliable vehicle sold by true honest people, motorcars is NOT the place to go. Staff has even admitted to me this should not have happened to me and I should leave a bad review. If staff doesn’t trust them, why should customers?

We are sorry that you had a less than perfect experience. Unfortunately any time a 9 year old vehicle with over 100K miles is sold "as is" there is risk even after every inspection available. That is why we offer an array of the best vehicle service contracts on the market. In this case both purchasers declined all/any warranties. Although Motorcars denies any wrong doing our company did offer to cover over over 40% of the total bill before being harassed and verbally abused by the purchasers. No matter what we are always here to help as much as we can!

Great place to buy.

Great place to buy. Randy Blackwell will get u in a great vehicle and a great deal. Will buy again in the future if im in search of another vehicle.

Knowledgeable and patient

In the past I’ve gone to dealerships and felt rushed by the salesmen but my experience was completely different when I stopped by Motorcars. Best car buying experience ever

This is my second vehicle purchased from Motorcars of Lansing. Both experiences were excellent. This buying experience was with Randy Blackwell, the primary sales contact, who is a fine southern gentleman that exudes honesty and a genuine desire to fulfill the customers wishes. The dealership owners, John and Mike were also involved, and both are a pleasure to deal with. There was no high pressure, just straight forward discussion and conversation. An easy and very fair deal was struck and I'm extremely happy with the vehicle and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience, as the entire sales, service and support staff are pleasant, efficient and very competent. I highly recommend this dealership and will not hesitate to buy from them when my next car purchase comes around.

Great people, and fun building. Fantastic inventory and market prices (but not very negotiable on price). Would definitely consider buying another car from them in the future.

Awesome Dealership

This is a great dealership. They sold us a very clean Honda Odyssey at a very fair price. It was in excellent shape and they did a great job prepping it. We highly recommend this dealership and will be back to purchase more vehicles in the future. Mike Young went the extra mile to make sure we are satisfied customers.
