Worse than my 1996 Didge Neon
My 1996 Dodge Neon was my first car. And it was a piece of junk...but at least it was priced right. I have a 2019 Acura RDX Advanced model. I leased it in November and to date (May 24, 2019) only have 5,890 miles on the car. My informant system completely shuts down and disabled all functionality -including Bluetooth. Shortly after this happens- electrical popping can be heard throughout my dashboard. If you can imagine the firework poppers that you throw on the ground? Yes- that is the exact sound that comes out of my dashboard for lengths of appx 20 minutes at a time. That’s not scary at all, right? Electrical malfunction? I brought the vehicle immediately into the dealer on Monday, April 29 as I was extremely fearful of my safety. They had the car for the day and said that a hard reset of my car had to be done and it was ready for pick up. Tuesday, April 30th the informant system is down again and the popping is back....soooo now it’s going back to Acura again for a second time. Acura has the car May 2-3 and has decided that the car has a faulty gauge control. A new part is ordered and replaced. GREAT! Until it’s not great. Only two weeks later as I am in the middle of a 200+ mile road trip POP POP POP and there goes the system again with the sound back. My RDX is currently in the shop and they have been very transparent that they don’t know what is wrong with it. My car has been in the shop for 9 days this month and I have lost complete trust in the vehicle itself and do not feel safe in it.

I absolutely love the way it drives.
The car has met all of my needs. I’m absolutely in love with it. I purchased the Acura RDX APEC model and would highly recommend others to consider this model.

Poor build quality
Leased this car in October 2018. It has been in the shop 3 times. The front breaks squeak. Dealer said there was nothing they could do. Then a loud popping and cracking noise cane from the speakers. Acura issued a press release about this problem. Dealer is currently trying to fix this problem. Stay away from this car.

Sheep in Wolf's clothing...
This is a car with an identity crisis. It looks like a really fast car, yet it's really not fast and it's really not a luxury car. The engine is awesome but the transmission is horrible. With 10 speeds, it seems to have trouble making up it's mind of when to shift and when not to. Upshifts speeds are noticeably faster than downshifts but only if you are very deliberate with the throttle. During low to moderate speed driving, the car shifts all over the place just to keep you in the torque band, making for a very uncomfortable ride for a "luxury" crossover. And what's with the fake engine "noise" being piped through the speakers? The car is noisy enough on it's own. It's just obnoxious and it can't be turned off. Not going to add too much to the bad (and very slow) infotainment system or to the unreliable safety features that haven't already been brought up in other reviews. Overall, I would suggest anyone looking to buy this car, take it for more than a 5 minute spin before making a purchase. Take it around town for an hour and try some "normal" driving in traffic and see for yourself. Definitely try the lane keep assist and collision avoidance features and see for yourself if they seem helpful or just downright dangerous. After putting 6000 miles on mine, here's the good and bad in my opinion. Good: Great design work on the body and most of the interior. Strong engine - unfortunately mated to a bad transmission Great SH-AWD system. This thing is glued to the road. Chassis is very stiff and feels quite solid Bad: Horribly slow infotainment system (maybe due to the fact that it's a very old version of android). Horribly slow transmission and it shifts CONSTANTLY for no reason. Sound deadening in this vehicle is just subpar for anything trying to be labeled as a luxury vehicle. You can hear everything outside, but that's typical Honda. Silly engine note being piped into the speakers that you can't turn off. Leather on the seats feel cheap and so do the rest of the plastics and the seats are stiffer than they need to be Storage in center console could be better designed. To wrap things up - This car has been quite a let down since day 1. I've owned a lot of cars and this would be the first one that I really just don't like to drive. Maybe I'm expecting too much for $48k but I just think they could do so much better.

RDXiculous Ride
By far the most sporty crossover in its class. Interior styling is unmatched. We already own the TLX Aspec, and wanted a crossover that would match it looks. The RDX Aspec was a no brainer. Very happy with purchase

Most attractive SUV, does everything I need.
This car meets most of my needs, good handling, responsive engine, great ride and safe as they come and very stylish. Surprised car did not come with GPS or CD player which I over looked, at least in the base model I purchased.

Outstanding engineering, performance and comfort!
I've had my 2019 RDX for three weeks. The car is solid and gives a driver confidence in control and maneuvering through city traffic or on the highway. The technology and creature comforts are intuitively designed and further enhance the driving experience. And drop dead good looks in styling inside and out! A pure winner.

10K miles and all is great
We have experienced all of the good mentioned in these reviews and none of the bad. Over the air updates have eliminated most infotainment flaws, so the purchase of a recently built RDX should provide a near perfect vehicle. I do not understand how someone could have a serious problem adapting to the True Touchpad.
