always wanted an rdx with sh awd
meets all my expectations. I've had many of the great sport and muscle cars in my 70 years of driving, and this one puts it all together in one package -outstanding handling, power, sounds and looks. All in all a truly great ride for anyone who loves cars and loves to drive. And, the price is right.

Lemon Arbitration next week
Bought this vehicle last June, one of the first on the road. Has been in the shop 80 days on multiple occasions for many issues: Horn kept blowing fuses and not working, infotainment system goes black, defects in windshield, steering wheel, hatch motor, leather seats. Infotainment system gives irrelevant warnings -- like "no drive mode available" when i don't even try to access it. BRAKE warning goes on even if nothing in front of me. I could go on. Acura Customer Service has had a case open since the vehicle was 2 weeks old and dangled buyback for months until I gave up and filed for arbitration a long 4 months ago. What a slow process. At this time all issues are fixed except the infotainment and random commands, and those present maybe 1/4 of the time I drive it and on final inspection, field rep could not duplicate. SO their response in writing is there is nothing wrong with the vehicle, it is safe, and has not lost value. I fear Acura/Honda will not do right by me unless at hearing the issue presents. I can only hope the 80 days out of service total will win me compensation. Florida Lemon says 30 days out of service so we shall see.....but no matter what, I will NOT keep the vehicle even if I take a huge loss. Two Acura dealers refuse to buy it back. A Honda dealer pulled up Carfax and questioned all the service visits (CarFax does not detail issues), and CarMax cannot even find my car in the system with the VIN. Huh??!!! A 20 year Honda/Acura customer is not being treated well by the company.

Love our 2019 RDX
This vehicle is a luxurious SUV. After much research on its competitors and wanting to stay in the Honda family although it’s not a Honda it’s the closest thing. So far we only have good things to say about our experience.

just traded my 2010 RDX for a 2019....awesome !
this SUV is fun to drive. I tested other brands, and even though we could have saved lots of $ by going others, we thought the extra money is worth every penny!

MPG? Navi? Transmission???
No one is talking about the horrid gas mileage. I traded a 6 in for a 4/turbo following the recommended MPG of 20 -25. I have never gotten over 18! I average 14mpg and I know why. The transmission shifts at odd times leaving the engine to require Turbo constantly and bringing the MPG way down. Bar far the least efficient vehicle I have ever owned. I mean it is horrible. Speaking of transmission.. if you dare to start in sport or sport plus before warming up the car, the computer just redlines first gear. You basically have to paddle shift the gears or go back to D mode. But drive mode as I said, is where the MPG drops significant. Trying to find a setting or paddle shift gears to increase MPG is ridiculous. Navigation? Cannot tell you how many times I screamed at the voice navigation . Can’t find xxxx and when it does you pretty much are at your destination or while driving went past the turn you needed to take. I mean.. the amount it takes to find a destination is like using an APPLE II LC vs and IMAC. It literally takes minutes to find a destination. I dont think it is a software issue as much as hardware. They probably skimped on a faster processor. No Excsue. Yes a fully loaded RDX is $10K cheaper than QS5, GLC AMG 43, or X5 M but the additional $10K is worth it in my opinion. They missed the mark on these failures and could of really penetrated the market if they paid attention to those enthusiastic drivers who would want to purchase this type of vehicle. Unless I see a significant improvement in a software upgrade soon, I am taking a loss and trading my Advanced for a Mercedes or Audi. Extremely dissatisfied. I dont see how the gas mileage will ever change unless they fix the gear ratios.

Dare To Compare
This is my 7th leased Acura. You can not beat the value of an Acura. My current ride is the '19 RDX SH-AWD w/Tech and Key Fob Remote in Performance Red with Beige interior. Hardly a day goes by that I don't get compliments on its good looks. The handling and ride is excellent with the SH-AWD. Performance is very good, though not as good as my Acura TL (sedans)Type-S'. The audio system is awesome and the vehicle is very comfortable, even for 5 adults. It is no wonder Acura leads sales in this segment by a long shot.

Disappointed I bought this car!
I have the Rdx with the A-spec package. I have had this car, 3 months; I have had it in the shop 4 times already! Twice for the brakes squeaking, which still is not fixed. Once because the sensor, was randomly going off, and twice to have new shocks/struts and suspion put on! Mind you I bought this car Brand new!! I regret purchasing this car!!

Infotainment Glitches
Overall the 2019 RDX is a very good & reliable car except for minor infotainment glitches. The voice command function is very slow & at times takes more than 3 minutes to load my contacts from my iPhone 7 via Bluetooth. I had it checked & updated already by the dealership but still the same problem exists. I hope ACURA will investigate & fix this problem soon.

Worst Acura I've owned!
This car is so over-engineered. The bluetooth / nav / sat radio integration is a mess. Did they even test this? Engine is under powered. My family has owned 6 different Acuras and this is by far the worst.
