10K miles and all is great

We have experienced all of the good mentioned in these reviews and none of the bad. Over the air updates have eliminated most infotainment flaws, so the purchase of a recently built RDX should provide a near perfect vehicle. I do not understand how someone could have a serious problem adapting to the True Touchpad.

Beautiful car that drives like a dream

I love everything about the 2019 RDX, from the grill to the taillights and everything in between. The technology is amazing and the car drives wonderfully. So happy am I!

Drove for 4 days as a loaner while TL was in shop

I found the dash and features new and updated. Takes a while to navigate the pad and radio but figured it out. The sound system is important to me and it seems my TL actually sounds a little better. For a 4-cylinder it handles and responds very well with the assistance of the turbo! I’ve owned three Acuras so considering buying the RDX also. Comfortable and excellent seat adjustments for shorter people too. More comfortable than the Mercedes E450 I had for a couple of weeks. I did not experience issues that some others seem to have written about so overall liked it very much.

Happy with my purchase.

So far we have recorded a little over 1000 miles on our RDX. No problems or complaints so far. The last two tanks of gas we recorded a little over 25 mpg. Infotainment system takes a little getting used to but I will get used to it. Love the fact that I can change driving modes.

BEST CAR I'VE EVER OWNED

We leased the Tech Pkg 2019 RDX about a month ago. First, the cons: it is a little more noisy than our previous vehicle, 2016 TLX - Tech Pkg. The address book of the Nav Systems will list commercial favorites with name but not personal ones. However, this is not a deal breaker as you can use your Contacts in your smart phone instead. Pros: This car is really peppy as compared to our 6 cylinder 2016 TLX . The reviewer of this car did not like the new touch pad but I have to tell you, I love it. It is easy to learn and easy to use. So, younger people (I'm 75 years old and had the touch pad down pat in 3 days flat), get over it. The interior cabin is luxurious and despite the noise being a little higher than our previous TLX (see above), the ride is smoother. This vehicle is a SUV or shall I say CUV and is not supposed to be fun to drive except...........it is! Just put it into Sport + mode and off you go. The Adaptive Cruise Control and front/back camera sensors plus blind-spot monitoring is fantastic as is the Nav System; yes, the Nav system is great so when they finally do install Android Auto, we may not even use it. We love this vehicle. It is the best vehicle I've ever owned and I've owned a bunch of them.

Very good and reliable SUV

We love this SUV, due to Cars.com we where able to locate the used 2019 SUV with 1200 miles and paid 8% less than new vehicle.

Fantastic Amazing Sporty RDX

Great ride with sporty appearance. I traded in my Range Rover Evoque for this reliable Acura. I owned an MDX years ago and decided to go back to the Acura family. Happy to be back looking through the panoramic sun/moonroof.

Second thoughts

I traded a 6 cyl. 2016 RDX for a 2019 Advanced package 6 months ago. My biggest disappointment is the mileage. I got around 25 - 27 around town and as much as 35 mpg highway on the 2016 but only 18 local and 23 hwy on a lucky day on the 2019. Ridiculous! The turbo 4, and 10 speed transmission coupled with auto shut off simply does not achieve advertised mpg. Changing drive modes - comfort or sport - does not make a difference. The push button transmission is manageable but not attractive. The 4 cyl. turbo does have enough zip although the turbo is a bit noisy. On the plus side the ride for the Advanced model is smoother than 2016 which had a ride that was too rigid/sharp over even the smallest rough surface. My general impression is Acura engineers have too much time on their hands needlessly spent trying to trick out this model. Interior space is more than ample but so was the 2016. Nevertheless it would have been better used by keeping the 6 cylinder which I believe shut down cylinders at cruising speed and prior transmission with much better mpg. The technology is nice but again over engineered. Whatever happened to “keep it simple”?

This car is one of the worst I have owned

The car rides good; the brakes work well, and I like the navigation system. Otherwise the car is haunted. I have had numerous phone issues; the radio turns itself on at will and often does not allow me to change channels. Twice the lane departure caused the car to stop in traffic, and I turned that "feature" off Also twice the car refused to go out of Park, and I was literally stuck in my garage. The dealership says they cannot fix anything they cannot duplicate, so they have done nothing. They say they cannot replace the software either, which seems to be where most of the issues are coming from. This is my first and last Acura, and I have only had it for 6 months. I will trade it as soon as I find a good replacement. Stay away from this car!

Great to drive, but

Comfortable, great to drive, but the electronic screen is confusing, unreliable, frustrating and not user friendly. Shocked to learn after purchasing that it has no CD player to accommodate my large collection. The latter are the reasons I would not recommend to a friend. The unreliable rating refers to the electronic screen.
