technology

no side blind zone alert, no back up sensors, ride quality a little too sporty for a luxury sedan and not a quiet ride

Love at First Drive, A blast to drive

I was one of those people who initially judged the book by the cover with the 2010 Acura TL.I had very strong feeling about the design of the car regarding sharp edges and bold in your face styling. I had been searching for a car for about 5-6 months and drove the Chrysler 300M, Infiniti M35, Range Rover HSE before coming across a 2010 TL SH-AWD on cars.com with the 6spd manual, it appealed to me so much that i completed the transaction in 1 week of seeing the car.I picked the car up and test drove it and boy was i in for a surprise, the car was spacious, comfortable, fast, smooth, luxurious, had technology to boot, quiet on the interior, has tons of grip with that SH-AWD as the name states it is absolutely super when cornering at speeds with very little body roll. The design which i once disliked has steadily grown on me as it stands out, unlike most cars today that try to blend in with the crowd. The design was way beyond its time, a solid product which i would highly recommend having discovered for myself after driving this car.If styling is your turn off forget the styling and drive the car if you think i lying, you'll be pleasantly surprised by the ability of this car. Furthermore you won't be able to see the front as you'd be too occupied enjoying the driving experience nor will the person behind you be able to see your tail lights with its 305HP. Grip grip and more Grip

Great Car

Purchased a Acura TL with Tech package. Love the interior and exterior qualities. Very comfortable and has numerouse features. My only complaint is this model is not the best for snow. Get the AWD model if you live in a place that experiences significant snow falls.

TL- great car

My husband and I recently bought a 2010 TL. We were trying to decide between the TL and the TLX. After driving both, I preferred the longer wheel base, the bigger back seat, a more luxurious ride, to the TLX. Both great cars. There are two things on the car that I don't like. The truck should have a release on the truck so you don't always have to use the clicker or use the release by the drivers seat. The other thing is, the trunk is a nice size, but if the back seats folded down like the TL the car would be unreal. As is though, great car, fun to drive. If they made the steering column a little stiffer, more like a Volvo or German car I think that would be a nice addition or to have that as an option like some cars do.

Pleasantly surprised

after searching for weeks on end for a 6 spd. manual with awd black on black and low miles i found my car and got a great deal as well, I am very happy with my purchase. I get good mileage, the handling is awesome, the tech package and interior superb, the short throw stick shift smooth as can be, and alot of room in this car. Can't wait to see how she handles in the snow.

'10 TL Doesn't Get Much Better

I'm not sure 4500 characters would be enough for a full review. :-D There isn't much that I don't like about the TL, but I'll just hit the highlights. Power/Engine 305 bhp / 273 ft-lb for a 3.7L V6. Tons of juice for this car. No issues with getting up to speed quickly on an on-ramp or coming into traffic from a turn. Hit the gas pedal and hang on. Plus it's a ULEV engine/vehicle, so you're not horribly polluting the environment like some other sports sedans do. Technology You won't find another car in this class on the market that comes standard with more technology standard than the TL. I have SH-AWD (will mention later) and the Technology Package, so I have even more technology. Backup camera & sensors, navigation system, voice-command, Bluetooth, HDD music + USB connectivity (CD actually gets burned to the HDD when it is inserted the first time!!) and lots, lots more. LOVE IT ALL!!! SH-AWD I wanted an AWD system, regardless of what vehicle I ultimately purchased. I knew a bit about the SH-AWD from a previous MDX I had and all the reviews I read. But now that I've had time to enjoy it in a sports sedan, it rocks (technical term)!! Nimble, fleet-footed, responsive, FUN! I really don't have any concern about the car going where I point it or the car staying on the road in bad conditions. Super isn't just the name of the system! Reliability Simply put, it's an Acura. I've had 3 different Acura's over the past 6 years and have loved each one. I will be buying more in the future!

Best Car I've Owned

I don't know where to start. I've had my TL SH-AWD for 4 months now. The handling on the vehicle is unlike any other vehicle. Sitting in the driver seat places me into another realm. This vehicle is everything that I expect out of a luxury sports sedan. I've test driven the 535 and G35, and I can honestly say I'd choose the TL hands down anyday. The styling is amazing. I think Acura goofed up with the latest revisions. The car is bold and the styling sets it apart from "the rest". I plan on keeping this vehicle for many years.

Fantastic Car

I searched for a performance sedan and have found what I was looking for and more with the Acura TL SH AWD. The manual transmission is great and the comfort, speed, quietness, space, and style more than meet my expectations. The car has a love it or hate it style, especially the front, but I love it. It looks meaty and has a way of saying, "get out of my way." The radio and navigation is easy to use and controls are accessible to the driver. I would recommend the TL 6 speed for those that like a sedan with performance.
