We?d appreciate quicker moves from the transmission. In every one of the driveline?s driver-selectable modes?Econ, Normal, Sport, and Sport+?the transmission takes a beat to deliver the correct downshift. Sport+ nearly masks this delay with zesty throttle blips and dramatic shifts when you brake hard and begin to turn the wheel, but the lowest gear it grabs still always feels one gear too high. And forget slapping at the shift paddles to speed things up; their responses aren?t much better.

Best all around luxury performance sedan

Never mind the busy street full of German sedans featuring to little luxury or performance. This is the median for elegance and fun. Safety? Best in class. Fuel economy? 34highway mpg on a V6- enough said, and if your into tech this will tickle your pickle too. At 37,197 miles and only a year and a half of drive it's definitely been there for me and I feel proud each time I see and get in Martha's driver seat.

Advanced package is awesome

Incredible luxury. Comfort, style, precision. Wish it were more snappy and responsive, but seems to hesitate when floored. Guessing it takes a second to properly shift through 9 gears as opposed to my 04 TL i just traded in. Overall, fantastic car with all the features and then some.

First time Acura TLX Owner

Based on a friend buying the same year and model, I was in the market. Easiest vehicle I have ever wanted to purchase. Getting used to all the technology and safety features like lane departure, or driving assist, to blind spot makes this a car I look forward to owning for a long time.

2015 Acura TLX V-6

After having put 30K I am still very pleased with it. Despite having a V-6 engine, I average 34-36 mpg on the highway. Fit and finish are very good and the car shows no sign of wear after nearly 2 1/2 years of ownership. I would make the same purchase again.

Not recommended

This is a way expensive vehicle than the other competitors. It is better to go with Honda or Toyota and get much more added features than this vehicle. Expensive and not recommended

Love the engine, HATE the transmission!

I have the FWS V6 with the 9-speed ZF transmission. It is terrible: harsh shifts, and ridiculous delays in downshifting. It negates the power and responsiveness of that wonderful engine, which is a shame. I like the handling and the four-wheel steering. The interior is great, but the touch screen is slow to respond and clunky at times. But for the price, I feel like the car was a great value.

I'm glad I found this car at such a great price, it is reliable and in great condition considering that it was used.
