Exacting and holds the road perfectly
I've enjoyed owning my Acura. Most of my buddies own them and that is how I came to buy a used one. My car is not a " an 2015TLX," but an 03 TL-S, since they did not list it in the choices.

Great car...but
Almost 40,000kms so far and everything is fine. Great car overall. In eco mode I can get 35mpg+ , and it sport mode this car is pretty swift! Sure the 9speed trans can be a bit "hurky jerky" at times, but after awhile you get used to it.

Don't like infotainment system
The touch screen is cumbersome. For example to scan radio have to go to another screen by hitting the 'more' button. Voice recognition system takes too long to boot up and is poor.

My 6th Acura And My Last!
My TLX V6 has been so problematic that I've decided after 6 Acura's I'll be buying a Audi or Lexus next. The V6 transmission is complete garbage and the dealer has no interest in fixing it. Talking to Acura corporate is like talking to the wall. All they do is deny, lie, and mislead. That's ok though as to date I've helped persuade five friends (or friends of friends) to take Acura off their shopping list. Anyone is better off buying a slightly used Audi or Lexus or new Hyundai or Kia. Consumer Reports proves all four brands are significantly more reliable than Acura. I'm sure their dealer service is likely to be better too. I recently read that Acura sales are down more than 20%. That's what happens when you put bad transmissions into thousands of TLX's and then lie to cover it up. Don't make the mistake I did and trust Acura. PS At least 1/3 of the loaner TLX cars I've gotten also have the same transmission problems as my car. It's not just 2015, but also 2016 and 2017 models. Don't be fooled avoid the TLX like the plague.

Very happy with my purchase
The car has many, many technological advances over my other Acura. As a senior, the car knows more than I do! The one thing that should be changed is the reflection in the driver's side mirror, caused by the shiny trim around it. The front is designed too low and often scrapes on curbs when parking in a lot. That is distressing!

Butter smooth engine over 60 mph - TLX v4 - TechP.
Got this car on 2015 Jan. It was the first 8 speed automatic offering in Acura Sedans. So it was a relative unknown when I first got this car. I usually drive in 'Normal' mode (Eco, Sport and Sport+ are others). When we reach over 50-60 miles/hr, the engine is smooth at its bets. BUT at lower speeds the transition between gears are very palpable. Sometimes there will be skips in the gears, so car jolts a bit when we raise the acceleration on lower speeds. Apart from that there are no other complaints. Only other thing to note is how fast the value of car depreciates once you buy and drive off the showroom. So consider getting a pre-owned if you want that mid-tier luxury sports sedan at reasonable rate. Tech Package - Awesome speakers. Always get complements on them. Nav. is a bit slow but usable, does not always pick the best route. Can be improved. Leather seating (different from base model) is a nice addition. Blind sport monitors - almost works always. Sometimes annoying but good to have them. Lane Assist - I am not comfortable using the lane assist. The feeling of someone/something controlling my wheel is disconcerting. Mileage - No complaints. Give me around 400 miles per full tank in mixed driving.

Amazing car!!!
Best car I ever owned. It's smooth, quiet, and powerful. I have the V6 Tech FWD and gets amazing fuel economy. On the highway at 65 I have gotten better than advertised. People have given this car bad reviews do to the 9 speed, but they forget that it will perform differently than a 5 or 6 speed auto. I waited over a year to post my review and I love this car more than I did when I bought it.

Great car for the money
I used to lease the 2013 ILX. When my lease was up, I was able get the TLX for less than the ILX due to dealer incentives. While I didn't like the 2016 ILX, I really like the TLX. The car really feels like a luxury car. I like the fact that the seats remember the driver based upon the key that you are using so the seat automatically adjusts for you. The ride is quiet and there is plenty of acceleration. The seats are very comfortable. It has a nice combination of luxury car and sports car feel to it. It's really a pleasure to drive.

HATE
I cannot WAIT to get rid of this car. I purchased this car at invoice (what the dealer pays for the car) I put 3500 down when I bought it. I wasnt really feeling the car anymore so i took it to trade it in.... car has depriciated another 7 GRAND in 4 months. Total of over 10,000 dollars. This is my first foreign car and will be my LAST. No american car I have ever owned has depriciated so quickly. STAY AWAY.
