2018 Audi Q5 consumer reviews

Have only owned for three weeks. Mostly city driving. One 125 mi each way freeway trip. The 2.0T runs great. Plenty of power getting on freeway, changing lanes and passing. Have run on gas saving mode - goes to ready mode at a long signal - with a slight hesitation at take-off. Also feel the hesitation of turbo at take-off. Averaged 26.7 MPG and I have a heavy foot! Interior fit & finish is really nice. Have the plus model and do enjoy the nicer finish .

Amazing car,I have a lot of legroom for my son:)Great design and media(Apple)! I prefer my A6 for speed ride :) Great moonroof and shade,great Bang&Olufsen sound.

Traded my 2016 for this 2018 Q5. New car much smoother, quieter and much more high tech. Great Virtual Dashboard has Navigation Map right in front of you. GPS almost as good as Waze. 3 zone comfort keeps the interior comfortable front and rear. The standard sound system is very good as well. My last Q5 had Bang and Olufsen which was no big deal and not worth the extra money. Audi sense new and just beginning to appreciate. This car has built in SOS like my BMW and gives us a better sense of safety and security.

Please be aware that the body of this vehicle is like a sardine can. First, someone opened their door into my Audi Q5, leaving an unimaginable sized dent. But last Tuesday, I was at work, so my Audi Q5 was outside. There was a hail storm that destroyed the vehicle, while other vehicles nearby got minimal damage. The body is made VERY, VERY delicate. I would not buy again because of this. Beware.

I?m not a ? natural ? driver but this car has everything I?d need. The handling is easy, it is very responsive and it?s extremely comfortable to drive.

Best care I have driven HOWEVER there are unexpected problems: 1) There is an ever worsening accelerator click (Felt and heard) which is cause by the calibrating ABS - Currently no factor fix 2) The Drivers side window becomes misaligned over time and as part needs to be replaced so factory fix is available BUT when I asked about the other windows which all must have the same fault I was told, Its only the drivers side in our county that the RHS window - Go figure Its a great car but cant recommend it until they fix the ABS issue - Pity

This is my 1st German car and last one. Huge disappointment with cheaply made 2018 Q5. Luxury??After 5 mos ownership, nothing exciting about a stiff riding vehicle, noisy suspension. The doors especially cheap hard plastic and creak everytime the door clised. How could Audi call this a Luxury suv? There are so many other higher quality vehicles for much less cost. The windows have a mind of their own. Open a little, then try to close, window cycles all the way down. ABS clicking upon warm up, really? Why? Then the kicker is the MMI with muliple sub menus, why do I need so many ways to control a single function? Overly complicated and dangerous driving. Q5 crap from Mexico.

I bought a Q5 in Audi Palo Alto, but after a week the car engine broke up. Probably they just sold me a broken car!!!�?After six days they still didn't solve the issue and didn't explain me anything. They connected me to Audi USA, but they also didn't answer my email! I tried to call to service again, and they have a day off! They don't care about customers.

I love this car, drives like a sports car, stereo is amazing-seats are a little uncomfortable, car is realayively new, less then 800 miles so far, no long trips yet
