Most reliable with usable options , safe and fun

The Audi Q5prestige package had drivers assistance and heads up dispay and a\c and heated seats. Great car for the money and a lot of fun to drive

Want to love it but can't - unsafe

I picked the Q5 for the safety features, rear visibility (was in a Lexus RX), comfort, and tech. It doesn't get quite as good milage as I'd like (but I was in a hybrid). What I HATE, and I am so surprised that no one else mentions, is that all the car doors unlock when the car is put in park. There is no setting to change--I've talked to Audi repeatedly; now I know that Forrester, Rav4, RX, RDX, and XC60 all have easy setting to turn this on or off. So in parking garages or gas stations or anyplace where safety could be an issue, all Q5 doors unlock instantly in park. There is also another "feature" where the ignition turns off completely (not start stop) when you put the car in park and then remove the driver seat belt; only way to avoid this is, oddly, to turn off start/stop completely. As a result, at a drive up ATM, I put my car in park, undid the seat belt to reach over, and found myself in an unlocked car with the ignition turned off. Ridiculously unsafe.

Up grade from previous Audi

So far we are thrilled with this new Audi. We went from an A4 sedan to the Q5 SUV. Looking forward to the same quality and reliability that our previous Audi gave us.

Most luxurious car I've ever owned

This car is like a dream. The ride is so smooth and the control I have while driving is amazing. It accelerates nicely and the turns are tight. It has so many bells and whistles technologically but they are easy to figure out.

HUD windshield bad design

The more expensive model with heads up display uses a different windshield that passes excessive passive solar heat and places reflection at eye level driving. Not a good vehicle unless you are working on your tan or need an additional heater. A/C on full when driving on 70 degree day in Colorado.

Recent Q5 Purchase

Fantastic Car! I think the best value for money in the luxury crossover SUV segment, its real competition is really the BMW X3 (which I did not test drive). Really purchased for its safety features, but plenty luxurious and the drive/engine is fantastic, esp. in sport mode. Granted, first audi (or german luxury vehicle purchase) but could not be more thrilled!

I love this vehicle! I have always owned BMWs..so I was hesitant about moving into another vehicle family. I am so glad I did! This car is great! It meets beyond my vehicular standards!
