Better than an SUV

Really like this car. It has great room, nice power, smooth ride but handles like a sports sedan. Gas mileage is good in the city, great on the highway. Have the Preferred trim and wish it had heated seats (which come standard on much less expensive cars). Had dealer install seat heaters which work very well. Had an early, wet 10-12" snow this year and the car handled great with the standard tires. I think the car stands out from the SUVs out there and it's every bit as useful with better handling and gas mileage.

Too new for a reliability review

Amazing car- plenty of power and room. European handling and style but a bit light on the "bells and whistles"; but that' ok since I buy a car to drive not for "infotainment". Researched and test drove many vehicles before purchasing this.

TourX is an absolute steal!

My G8GT was just racking up miles sitting in traffic getting destroyed by Chicago streets. I needed a car that was quiet above all else, but could also handle potholes and get home if the snowplows haven't made rounds yet. Buicks Quietsense isn't just trademark engineering, every knob or button push has a satisfying feel and it is remarkably quiet. With all the GM incentives to move them, a top of the line Essence model with all driver functions is a killer deal at less than 29K brand new 2018. Lane assist gently steers you back into the middleof the lane if you drift, and the adaptive cruise control goes all the way to zero so I just turn it on in traffic and let it do it's thing. I specifically wanted this car for the tons of cargo room, but also because it has no gimmicke "sports" buttons or badges. The G8 GT was a true 4 door sports sedan; I appreciate Buick making a car that can soak up potholes and not pretend it's also a racetrack killer. The Bose sound system is pretty good. Not as good as the full alpine system with 12'' kicker-but I'm not expecting that. It's clean and refined and not a hint of rattle anywhere. this car does exactly what I wanted: a quiet, peaceful commuter and will not hesitate in snow-it just happens to look nice and was a great bargain.

Again I'm glad I kept with an american car.

Was looking for either a convertible, a SUV, or a Jeep Wrangler. Once I researched the Buick TourX I found a perfect fit. I feel it's a cross between a SUV and a car, but with sporty style. You won't have another one pull up to you at a light at the same time. It's something "refreshingly" different. It has a Large Moonroof too. Good gas mileage and good insurance rates!

A car I feel good driving

I do highway driving, not off road things, but often shop for antiques on trips. The TourX is a good highway driver and has plenty of room for my purchases. Besides, it's a good looking automobile and I'm proud to drive it.

Best car for the money.

This car took me a week or so to get used to. I'm a toyota guy. It's about all I drive. But the more I drive this awesome vehicle. The more I just Love it . It dont blend in. I get lots of looks while driving it. It looks like a 90,000 car. Very unique and stylish.

Buick Tour-X

We just bought the Buick Tour-X (Wagon). I had an E-class Mercedes sedan but I wanted a wagon. A new E-Class wagon was out of my price range and they are very hard to find on the used market. I read about the Tour-X which has the Buick name but is built in Germany in the Opel factory. I like the styling and after test driving it, I think it's at least 95% as comfortable as the Mercedes. It's too soon to comment on reliability.

A reasonably priced luxurious station wagon

Beautiful design and excellent handling, plus many many well thought out extra features. Lots of leg room in the rear. I am currently getting 32 mpg mixed highway and local. For this type of driving I never before exceeded 22 mpg. I think the designers are magicians. A friend saw my TourX and now he is buying one.

This a great car for folks who need all wheel drive coupled with good cargo capacity but who don’t want or need to drive a crossover.
