2016 Chevrolet Colorado consumer reviews

I purchased vehicle with 3500 miles on it and have had it for 6weeks. I love the ride,minimal cab and engine noise, towing capacity and ease of parking and backing. (With backup camera) But it does have its flaws. How the Chevrolet engineers did not include a garage door opener on mirror is beyond me , even my 2005 Dodge Dakota had one, having to fumble around to find the opener is inconvenient . There isn?t a 4 wheel drive indicator light on the instrument panel and you have to look under the steering wheel on the bottom left to find the knob to see if it?s in 2 wheel or four wheel drive. The placement of the knob is problematic because how low it is placed on the panel and how hard it is to see. I?ve noticed that when I slide out of the vehicle it is very easy to accidentally brush the knob and put vehicle in 4 wheel drive high. I have done this on numerous occasions and did?t know It because of lack of a light on instrument panel and the out of the way knob that is hard to see. I?ve accidentally driven my vehicle on hard dry surfaces only to find l?m in 4 wheel high when making a sharp turn. The computer electronics is not driver friendly or is it easy to use. The maps or not accurate nor complete. Nice truck but far from perfect for the price.

Best truck I have ever owned! Exterior is visually stunning with a sleek feel while still maintaining a rugged appeal. Interior is exceptionally comfortable and contouring to the driver. The crew cab does allow for 5 passengers, however 5 adults does feel a little cramped. Handles car seats and children with ease. The touch screen interface with Apple Car Play works wonderfully. This truck loves to be off road! Handles dirt, sand, rock and snow with ease. I have yet to find a terrain it does not excel over. Cargo space in the bed does leave something to be desired. Hauls everyday things without a problem, but fitting larger items might have feeling like youre playing a game of tetris. Overall, I cannot complain for the price tag, power and refinement. Truly an amazing buy!!!

I have owned three Ford Rangers and 4 S-10's [including 2 trucks and 2 Blazers] and this one beats them all in terms of both mileage and capability. Used to think Ford for comfort and Chevy for reliability but they have cracked the comfort code with this one. Saw the "new" Ranger on a recent trip to Mexico and there was nothing there that would make me trade in my Colorado just to have a Ranger.

Great looking and performing vehicle. It is loaded with features, even more than my 2015 Audi I traded in for the Colorado. My 1 gripe however is that the technology system doesn't always work well and is buggy. Apple carplay is useless when trying to play pandora, and when I connect my phone to power, bluetooth automatically cuts off and runs off of the ipod feature. I would rather it just stay on bluetooth. Looking forward to having this truck for while!

The Chevy Colorado Z71 is very nice and comfortable the only thing I would recommend is purchasing an extended bed.

Power and luxury at the same time, i was looking some truck for go work, go to dinner, go out with family, and this one is the perfect truck.

Excellent truck for money , great for off road and for highway use. Navigation system stereo system and keyless entry were great

This truck is very comfortable. Quiet. It's easy to park in tight spaces. I love the backup camera. This truck is very approachable when loading or unloading. The steup bumper is handy. Beefy ergonomics, nice. Tougher than i thought it was when i first bought it.

Really nice design, very smooth on the road, very reliable truck, really good on gas, powerful, new gas system direct injection, over all good truck.
