Surprised and extremely satisfied with the ride and the performance of this small pickup truck. It has a six cylinder engine and I wanted the short wheel base so I could get around in the city and on out of the way mountain roads even though I thought there would be trade off sacrifice in the ride. The test drive was nice but after the purchase, long trips I have taken on the freeway have been comfortable, quiet and beyond my expectation from a small short wheel base truck. I test drove a used 2015 and a used 2016 Colorado all with the Z/7 package and low mileage. There is no comparison on the difference in performance with the new 2017 and the 2015 and 2016 models, it beats them going away in a big way. The only knock I have is the cup holders are small and the little pockets or whatever you want to call them on the side of the doors for putting misc. items in are so small that they are pretty much useless. If you put something down in them you better have small fingers if you want to easily retrieve them. Everything else about the truck I really like and the more I drove it the more I liked it, especially the handling and the performance.

I currently own a 2017 Colorado Duramax Z71 Crew Cab, this thing is excellent in all aspects. I am 6'3" and the interior of this thing "feels" as big as my Avalanche. I have put 2500 miles on it so far, with most of them being a mix of highway and Oklahoma county roads. The suspension and steering feels wonderful and soaks up anything the road throws at it. The 2.8L Turbo Duramax has plenty of power for "passing". The only downside that I've noticed is what seems like an unusually long time to downshift at times. I believe this has to do with turbo lag seen in smaller diesels and can be easily adapted to once you get used to this little quirk. Overall, I am extremely happy with my purchase and the real world 28 MPG on the highway is an added bonus!

What a well-designed and well-crafted vehicle; plenty of space in the front and very comfortable for back passengers. The seats with the driver and passenger lumbar controls are fantastically comfortable. Only have 175 miles on the truck and am averaging 19 mpg. Installed a G-4 Elite Fold-a-Cover tonneau and no issues with space, storage or security. The back seats fold up (and down) for storing items - very nimble and car-like. In many ways just as easy as my Traverse SUV. Highly recommend this vehicle. Great deal with GM rebates/customer loyalty cash/ and dealer incentives. First time truck owner - no regrets!

I am 6' 8". I have wanted to have a mid-size truck for sometime, and had given up the search a few years ago. When I drove the colorado I was amazed by the comfort and space I had. Then I sat behind my wife when she drove a crew cab - I was hugely shocked by the leg room and comfort of the back seats. All aspects of the truck were impressive except for the key.... weird that the key looks so mickey mouse, very odd.

I really wanted to like this little truck but the interior and performance just let it down. Lots of plastic and very hard seats inside. Performance was fine for keeping up with traffic but I'm sure this segment deserves a high performance truck?

Every thing works as it should except the A/C which is incredible. Too cold to use much of. seats are comfortable and all controls are convenient.. The back seats are not too useful and I removed them. Love the tailgate not crashing down!

It's only been a short while, but we are quite pleased with our Chevy Colorado. It's suits our needs quite well. What I like the most is the way it drives. Drives more like a car than a truck yet it's still a truck.

Great small truck, good power and styling. Comfortable interior. Enough room for those needing a truck occasionally or need to carry small loads. Plenty of power to pull a trailer.

Fun to drive and very comfortable. Has all the latest gadgets, like on-star, so I feel safe taking family on vacation. The Bose radio sounds great and sirius XM is a luxury. Just love my new truck!

I got the 2017 Colorado Z71 crew cab 4x4. This is a good truck so far. Especially if you buy new with cash incentives. Engine is good along with gas mileage. I looked at a 2017 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 and it has some features that outshines the Tacoma. The remote start is pretty awesome. I don't think the Tacoma offers that. Power seats is another feature Toyota doesn't have. Can't forget the auto 4x4 selection Colorado has on it. There are somethings that fall below my expectations, like the interior and back seat room.
