This truck is a pleasure to drive.

Handles beautifully, good on gas, lots of room despite the midsize category, plenty of pep and looks great.

Fuel saver truck

I love my new Colorado but was upset to find it is not xm radio capable. Other Chevy products come standard and this has every option including apple car play and on star

V6 Colorado - good price and V6 beats the Tacoma

The Colorado V6 Work truck meets our needs for a business truck, the extra power of the V6 and back seats and price won us over the Toyota Tacoma. Recommend!

Just purchased a great vehicle

I became a little familiar with the vehicle during the test drive, but still have a lot to learn. Also, I would have like to have tried it in an area where I could have "punched" a little, but we were in town.

On Day One It Seems Great!

It seems to have everything we need for our situation. I like the front seat comfort and the truck really stands out in a crowd.

All ways wanted one

All ways wanted one when they came out with gen 2 in 2015. I like the body styling, and the size, not big and not to small. Nimble enough to get around parking lots and and tight parking situations. With the 3.6 v6 plenty of hp.

Love it, but have suggestions.

I absolutely love this truck. It's smaller, more agile, quieter, and overall a lot more pleasant to use than my F350, which I still have out of need. The diesel pulls very well within it's rated capacity. The mirrors need to be extendable to see around a normal width trailer, though. Seats are fine but I would be willing to spring for leather and an adjustable lumbar support. Rear seats aren't great for more than an hour, lacking adjustment. Under seat space is limited in the rear. Just a couple of jackets, a tow rope and jumper cables. There is no space behind the fixed rear seat backs. The info-tainment goodies are quite intuitive and work well. I wish I could turn off the Orwellian OnStar stuff. I would rather not be tracked than have the supposed conveniences. The suspension is spot on; neither too soft or too harsh. I see no need for the Zr2 unless one just likes the looks or wants to do hard core off-roading. My Z71 4x4 is terrific in the desert or mountains, but still feels compliant on city streets. After having large diesel trucks for the past 25 years this Colorado is down right relaxing and enjoyable. It will do 90% of what one would want a truck to do and is much preferable to the large ones unless you really need massive towing capacity or you need to put more people in it. Chevrolet! Please listen to me. Great vehicle... just give me a few things. Needs: Tow mirrors, Leather option, Quiet door pocket liners, Adjustable lumbar support.

9200 miles, trouble free, but too early to tell.

I love the styling. I got the 4 door crew cab because the extend cab is too small to put my daughter in the back with her car seat. Also adults can actually sit back there. The 5'2" bed is a little on the short side, but it would be difficult to park if it was longer. Mine is 2 wheel drive with the V6. I didn't want 4 wheel drive even though I live in northern Ohio because I know how to drive. Also better MPG and performance and handling. The truck has tons of power (308HP) and is really fast for a vehicle this size. My only complaints are the seats could be more comfortable and the ride height it way too high. The 2wd sits just as high as a 4wd. The tires are the same size too. There is no difference other than 4x4's have stickers on the side of the bed. It is hard for everyone to get in and out of. I put nerf bars on to help older members of my family get in and out and it's still hard for them. If I would lower it 6" it would look like a regular 2wd truck and still not like a lowrider. I parked next to an older 4x4 Blazer and I was sitting about 6" above him. 2wd should sit lower than a 4x4.

8 Speed Transmission

We love the truck except for the 8 speed transmission it has a very harsh down shift pattern and GM claims this to be normal and working as designed. Sometimes it downshifts so hard it feels like you have been rear ended, I do not feel this can be normal. We keep taking it back to the dealer but so far they have not been able to get it to stop this unsatisfactory shifting. We have written 3 letters to GM and so far they are doing nothing to help us, very disappointed in GM and this truck
