it is the best car i have ever owned,i would recommend it to anyone, i have owned 4 corvettes , and the best one so far is the zo6 c5 , i have never driven a c6 yet,but the c5 is much better than the c4. my next car will be a c6 zo6,can't afford the new zr1.

Well worth the money!

Overall, this is a great car for the money. Comfort: You're going to feel the road, and what it's truly made of. So get ready to dodge those potholes. Performance: With a base of 350rwhp you will definitely get where you need to be. Great engine, like a rock! Handling: I was very surprised with this cars ability to handle. I figured since it was built for the straight-a ways, the handling wouldn't be as superior as a AWD car, but it can keep up. Exterior: It's a vette, you get what you get! Features: The options are there! It just depends on your preferences. Value: Great value, especially if your looking for $$$ to hp ratio. Reliability: Started off rocky with some clutch cylinder issues but, those were the only problems, nothing directly related to the engine itself. Final words: Great buy for the money! If i could use half-stars when rating this car, add a +1/2 star to every rating!!!

If the rest of GM were doing this well...

I'm original owner, everyday driver. At eight years old, it feels as solid, predictable and peppy as new. Only sign of age is at the full-force carwash, where a little water now creeps in over the top of driver's window. Despite public misperception, this car gets decent mileage--mid-20's--and scores *higher* on Terrapass (the green website) than a same-year Honda. It's GM's flagship and test bed for new technology, so is 2-3 years ahead of the rest, yet has awesome reliability. If it were made in Europe, with this handling, acceleration and braking, you'd pay five times what the Vette cost. The heads-up display, with speedo / tach data projected on the windshield, came from fighter plane research, and really keeps your eyes on the road. My dad loved 'em, and so do I. Plastic fantastic!
