All the features in one car!

I rent this car wherever I go (when traveling). It has all of the nice new car features that you can ask in a vehicle, i.e. Bluetooth and phone integration, leather heated seats, and powerful motor and gas saver. The suspension is really good, for a small car.

Chevys are the most reliable cars I've seen

After my old Jeep broke down, I knew I needed a decent car. The Chevy Cruze is excellent for my daily commute to and from work, amd will be great for my Lyft rides, too.

Best fuel mileage.

Great car all around. Nothing fancy, but anything you could need with phenomenal fuel mileage. No major problems, easy to work on for regular maintenance.

This car has been nothing but trouble

It has 7 recalls on it. Not a good sign that it is a reliable car. Not a safe car for the family to travel any distance.

Bought Used, So Far Impressed

I bought this car used yesterday after test-driving it. I had previously heard of the Chevy Cruze through my flight instructor, who has one and loves it. Immediately I was impressed. I'm no stranger to Chevrolet since my mom has an Equinox, so the interior was already familiar to me, as well as the handling characteristics. On the interior, the front is spacious. My 6'7" uncle could sit in the passenger seat and had leg room to spare, but at the cost of the rear seat being unusable. However, since it's just me for the most part, this isn't a problem. The driver's seat is firm but comfortable, with controls to adjust pitch, height, and distance from the pedals located on the bottom half of the seats. The steering wheel is adjustable for both height and depth, and has cruise control and sound system controls. Steering is very light, with only slight control pressures needed to maintain control. The car does exceptionally with corners since it can turn on a dime. The wipers that come with the car are able to wick away any and all rain that falls on the windshield. The control is split between the running modes, a push-to-wipe mode, and washer mode. On the other side of the steering wheel is the turn signal, combined with the center display for vehicle information such as speed, MPG, tire pressure, oil life, etc. The engine gets incredible mileage. I was consistently getting 38-50 mpg on the highway and up to 35 in the city, well above the advertised mileage. This was on open, flat land at roughly 1,000 feet MSL. Regarding acceleration, I have the turbo version, so it has some pep in its step. In the lower speeds, if I'm not careful, sometimes my head hits the headrest. However, on the highway, it can take some gas to pick up speed. The car brakes well, but it can take some pedal travel for braking to begin. This isn't a big issue for me, however, since my old LeBaron was the same way, so I'm used to it. Disc brakes in the front and drum brakes in the back are standard in the 2014 LT model. For safety, wraparound and knee airbags come standard, ensuring occupant safety in the event of a crash or rollover. My car came with the standard-issue radio with AUX and USB ports to pair an iPhone, as well as Bluetooth connectivity for hands-free calling. It can take some time, but the car will recognize an iDevice. The sound system is of good quality, with clear audio and no static. The air conditioner works well, with cold air blowing consistently. The cabin temperature and fan speed are controlled by dials, and nothing's automatic. I haven't been able to use the heater, as it's in the dead of May. Overall, the car is well worth the $10K the dealership was wanting for it. I've driven the car about 100 miles since purchase, and have had no problems. A quiet, spacious interior, great gas mileage, and exceptional handling characteristics make this car a standard in the used car market. If you can get your hands on a Cruze, I would one hundred percent recommend it.

Super reliable and great gas mileage.

This car did what I wanted it to do with no problems. I bought it brand new and owned it for 5 years. It had one oil leak that was a fairly easy fix. It always got great mileage and it was fun to drive.
