Reliability and comfort without breaking the bank

I absolutely love my Impala. I have the LTZ model. The leather seats are so comfortable. It has plenty of room in the front and back. Lots of trunk space. If needed, the back seats flip down for extra space. I love the Bose sound system. The radio also has speed adjusted volume, which helps drown out the road noise when you jump on the interstate. This car has a lot of power behind it also. However, fuel economy isn't sacrificed for the extra horses. It does amazing on the highway. I set my cruise control and it sips the gas. While it may not look as sporty as some other cars, it still doesn't look bad on the outside.

great car and a great value

Upon starting a new job I decided I needed a vehicle with better fuel efficiency than my old Jeep. I was doing some research on Malibus and Accords, and a site suggested the Impala as similar to the Malibu. I checked the specs and was very impressed that the 3.6l produces 300hp while still attaining 18 mpg city and 30 highway. Upon a test drive, I was really surprised at the whole package. The ride is firm enough to handle well, but still comfortable; the fuel economy is good, and even the mid-level LT package has great features, such as a sun/moonroof, a nice stereo, remote start, and power everything. I've always been a GM fan, and it makes me very happy to know Chevy still makes such a great car. I only rated the reliability as average because I just purchased the car this week and can't make a fair assumption yet, but knowing the brand I'm sure it will be great.

Highway cruiser

I have owned my Impala for 5 years now. GREAT car for travelling. I have a heavy foot and cruise 80-90. This car can take it and seems to ask for more!! I punch mine all the time. Very reliable. Only problem I have had is those pesky blend doors (ac/heat). Dealer wanted $400 to replace each side. I did mine myself for just the cost of the parts ($35 each/thanks youtube). I personalized mine a bit (changed out headlights to LED, and with the remote start, it lights up when started, very pretty, I also added a hood protector and roof wind deflector). It really stands out from the others and the "newer body styles" owners have complimented me on how "sharp my Impala is". In parking lots, I often get compliments from strangers. I love my highway cruiser. Fancier and much more expensive cars can't hold a candle to the overall value and performance of this car!! In the future, I will by another Impala!!

Not my first Impala!

My Dad bought My first Impala for me. It was a used blue "69." I'm the proud owner of a 2012 Chevy Impala bought used with help from Cars.com. At my age and with income from my retirement proceeds this has been truly a blessing for my daughter and I. We love this car!!!!

Love my Impala

I absolutely love Chevy Impalas. The are Very comfortable to drive long distances in. They handle great in any type of weather especially winter weather. I prefer my Impalas front wheel drive over 4 wheel drive. I had my last Impala for 10 years without a single problem. These cars will run forever

Dependable

I bought this 2012 Impala with 22k miles. It now has 125k miles with no problems except once I let it run out of gas and kept trying to start it and I burned out the fuel pump! That was $365 plus labor but other than that it has been a very good car . Mine didn't come with a trunk light so I had to put a little stick up one in it. Just a minor defect in design.
