Test drove a used LTZ ... WOW. I bought it

Bought a used LTZ . Very impressed with the new 300hp v6. So much room too. Very comfortable ride . Love this car. If you want a 2012 impala go for the ltz trim level. Loaded...

Very dependable. Except for the air, heat actuators

Ride and handling are decent. The car is surprisingly quick for what it is. With 302 hp. The problem is there is a governor that limits top speed to 112 miles an hour. Which is more than adequate for most of us. I have no idea how to bypass the governor but apparently some people have. And claim close to a 150 mile an hour top speed. (NOT RECOMMENDED) Heck the new 2020 Toyota Supra only has 335 hp. And a top speed of 155. And weighs 100 or so lb. less. baseball hotdogs apple pie and Chevrolet

That car is a sleeper!!!

With the new engin and transmission, the Impala is a good car. It is a sleeper, 0-60 5.8 seconds near of 150 mph top speed. That is impressive!!!! The headline is not good as the performance. The car is very comfortable. The fuel economy is really good for that kind of car. I did 32 miles a gallon on highway at 65 mph and 30 /at 70 mph and 75 mph still at 30. I think is really good !!!

Great performance and reliability

This car has every option besides moonroof. Super quiet. Super fast and gets really good mileage. I also got it below market value which was fantastic considering it has only 84,000 miles

Fun car

Im more focused on the performance aspects. It says it has 262 lb-ft tq but it doesnt feel like it. Only get decent power in high revs. Limits at 140 which is nice, many cars are locked off at 120.

Great car, very comfortable & reliable.

This car has served me well. I have driven this car nearly 100,000 miles, no problems, very little maintenance. The car looks as good now as when I bought it over 5 years ago when it had just over 34000 miles. The car rides and drives so well. Lots of leg & head room. Large trunk capacity. I'm 72 years old and I drove the car easy, maintained it and kept it in the garage when not driving it. I think you would be impressed if you saw and drove this car.

Fantastic performance and value for the money

So I was looking for a comfortable mid sized sedan with good power. My 2012 Impala checked all the boxes. This car has some serious go. I am a big guy so I needed some room and I got that too. I think I got an absolute bargain with this car. It does everything I ask of it and can hang with some of the best out on the highway. The only complaint I have with this car is the brakes. They should be better considering the power this car can put down. My wifes 2011 Lacrosse is a 4cylr and it has bigger rotors and brakes then my 2012 LTZ 6cylr Impala does.

Great comfortable highway car.

I put 1000 miles a week on my car.I'm 6'3" and this is a great fitting car. Plenty of legroom and the steering wheel controls give easy access to cruise control and radio functions. I just changed the air filter and oil and am getting 30 plus mpg. This is the 3rd Impala I have owned. That a testimony on how good these cars are.

Dont purchase

I wont purchase this car or make ever again. My friend who previously owned one warned me. I have had stability track issues from day one. The first month I had it the engine shut off on the free way. Ever since they fixed it Ive had nothing but problems. Transmission?engine sensor has never went off. Huge blind spot on right front side and the head rest on the drivers side is sooo uncomfortable it is not for someone 5'1 . Very disappointed it was like once I purchased it Chevy didnt care.

Love my Impala

A very reliable vehicle. It could use more rear seat room. The V6 is a very powerful engine. A very smooth ride, love the X! radio, and disc player.
