Good except for stearing

Car handles ok baught with 11000 miles. Feathers are great styling is tops. Stearing is a problem. Makes a noise in the stearing at low speed Dealer acknowledges noise but says there is no current fix available, even though this car is still under warrentee. Owened t birds previously. Love full sise coups.

Awesome Ride!!

The handling of this car is awesome! I have the V8 SS and it really has some get up and go. When cornering the car sits flat and the steering is easy. The remote start is a great thing to have, car warms in the morning when I get ready for work. The only thing that is hard to get used to is the V8 in a FWD. You have to hang on to the wheel when you get up and go.

This Monaco is AWESOME!!

Bought my '06 LT3 Monaco used (29,500 miles) and have never been more pleased with a vehicle purchase. This car is very quick off the line and reliable for this same quickness from any speed. The luxury sport coupe is a rare breed these days and yet my Monaco has all this and more. The feel when in the cockpit is powerful and although there is a bit of understeer when accelerating, it simply reminds you that you need to hang on tight! The appearance of this '06 is a winning combination as well. It appears as if passing you while standing still! I would also like to add that the sales process and service support has been just great. I would suggest a Monte Carlo to anyone interested in taking a small step back to the days of muscle cars, while enjoying the hi-tech gadgetry of today!

great car but watch out

i bought my monte used, with 58,000 miles on it. so far it has been an excellent car except for one thing. on the 3400 series 3.4 liter engine, they have become quite famous for the intake manifold seals rupturing. GM has had a big problem with these and the 3100 series 3.1 liter engine (but its not made anymore.) leaking oil thru the intake manifold. i would definately reccommend this car, but if possible get an ss, with the 3800 3.8 liter engine. they're much more reliable than the 3.4's

I LOVE THIS CAR!!!

I COMMUTE OVER 100 MILES PER DAY AND THIS CAR IS THE SAFEST AND FASTEST WAY TO REACH MY DESTINATION. I WAS A LITTLE WORRIED ABOUT THE PRICE OF GAS AND FUEL ECONOMY, BUT THE SS MODEL SWITCHES FROM 8 TO 4 CYL WHEN YOU'RE CRUISING ON THE HIGHWAY AT A NORMAL RATE OF SPEED. IT'S GREAT.
