No issues to report yet regular maintenance is key
I chose the Silverado 1500 Ext Cab 5.3 with the Z71 4X4 package for the styling and comfort with on the road and the versatility of off road and snow travel.

Engine 8 to 4 AFM
The AFM is needing to be replaced and the sensor is not reading properly enough to run and is costing me a fortune in gasoline and I have a big family but unfortunately there isn’t much I can do except replace the whole sensor and have it all reset and put as an 8 instead of a eight cylinder to four-cylinder

TPS malfunction at 60,000 mi
My throttle position sensor failed at around 60,000 miles. The dealer, jerks, insisted that I needed to purchase the entire throttle body assembly at almost $300.00. BS! Went to Amazon and got just the sensor for $18. Easy to replace, problem solved. No warranty left? NEVER go to the dealer. (As you all know.)

Great Truck poor gas mileage
great looking truck, great performance, pull a trailer with it occasionally, reliable up to 130,000 miles now. only down fall is the MPG's. I average about 16 MPG with a 3 inch lift and no other Modifications, with my 4WD on i get about 13 MPG , and when i put on my fender flares and in 2wd now i am averaging 14-15 MPG..... not the best
