Makes a great second car.

Love the mileage on the Chevy Sonic. The interior is also very nice; feels like you're inside a spaceship cockpit.

Very Reliable

I bought this car a couple of years ago with 110,000 miles on it. Two months after purchasing it, it was totaled in a wreck on the interstate. It is now a salvage car, but there is no problem besides the cosmetic damages. It is now a totaled vehicle with 145,000 miles but it is still drives like it was new.

I love this car!

This has been a great car so far. Having previously owned a chevy cobalt, I was decreasing the size of my car a tiny bit. I have not noticed it one bit. The trunk is much more spacious than expected and the interior does not feel small at all. The car is comfortable and seats have a great design on them. I am very happy with this car. It also gets GREAT gas mileage. I think in the month+ I've owned it, I've only had to fill up once.

Going Strong After 100K

I initially bought this car for the small size. It gets great gas mileage--about 35 to the gallon highway, which is what I drive most of the time. The one thing I don't like about it is that the passenger seat doesn't have an armrest, so my passenger is always trying to use my driver side armrest. It's also not a great car for a long-legged backseat passenger, although there's plenty of leg room in the front and lots of head space. My favorite thing about this car is the USB plug-in and the AUX cable. It's been of great use when I've driven for car-driving services.

Great value

This is a great little car. In spite of its size. Me, my wife and two car seats fit decently. I am over six foot so it would not be a long trip car but it is much better than you would think in terms of space. In terms of styling it is great, I think they lost the styling look with the new car design. Favorite feature is the dash and dials design giving it a motorcycle style speedo. Least favorite thing is the transmission. It is twitchy and doesn't shift when you think it should

Pleasantly suprised by this car.

When I was in the market for a new commuter car, I was dreading the thought because I have driven a full size truck for over 15 years now, but it was just too much gas for my long commute. I tried to find something that was at least a little sporty and stumbled on the 2012 Sonic LTZ 1.4L Turbo at a local dealership. I made an appointment to give it a little test drive and was very surprised. I'm not going to win any street races with this car anytime soon, but the power to weight on it is pretty zippy, especially when the turbo kicks in. The cornering on it is also impressive with not too much body roll. More than enough to keep the car on the road for the winding trip from my house to the highway. The interior is not cluttered and everything is where it should be. Overall I will be enjoying this car for the purpose I bought it for, and will be happy to use it in all other situations where I just need to simply transport myself and up to 4 people.

It was my very first car, always reliable

It was my first car and I loved it, but now that I have a family it fits us, but we would like a more roomy car.

A lot of car for the money

This car was a great car for my young daughter, it was reliable and great on gas. I would recommend this car for anyone commuting or looking for a reliable inexpensive car for themselves or a teenager.
