Gas saver and fun to drive.

For being such a small vehicle I can fit a lot of stuff in it. I like that it has 4 doors and is very good on gas. I have the bright green color so it's easy to find in a parking lot.

First financed car

I love it! Just the right size for me, and great on gas! The outside of the car is a beautiful blue with dark grey interior. There is plenty of leg room for everyone. I totally love how the driver's seat reclines all the way back. Great for long car rides when i need to pull over and take a nap. The back seats fold down, allowing plenty of space for transporting larger objects. All my friends think it is such a cute little car!

A Good Basic City Car

The looks of this car catches some attention. It's not boring for sure. The interior of the car is pretty basic. If you plan to drive this car for long distances, don't. Sitting in it for hours at a time will hurt your back. But if you are going to use it for short city driving, say just to go to work and back or some grocery errands and stuff, this is a very good economical car. Your $20 gas can get you far. It helps you to save on gas.

Tons of problems

We bought the car used it was 3 yrs old. We have had to fix the transmission 2 times in the matter of two months and now the brakes are locking while driving! At first we loved the car, it's great on gas since it's a commuter car.. but once it started having problems it was all downhill from there! We are actually filing a claim against GM to buy back the car. Its stylish and interior and exterior are great but as a reliable car I am going to say NO. This vehicle is known to have a ton of transmission problems. I would think twice if you wanted to purchase this vehicle.

Big fun in a small package

I love this little car. Great fuel mileage. Small on the outside, plenty of room on the inside. My husband is a bigger guy and he is very comfortable in both the driver seat and passenger seat. With my kids almost grown, I don't need a lot of back seat space but has enough room for them to be in the back comfortably for short trips. A little bumpy at highway speeds, but I don't do much highway driving, so it's not bad.

Nice little package

I purchased this car new. It has been a pretty reasonable car there's been a few things that have went wrong but it was under warranty. From all the reviews on this car that I have read online I can't say that I have been disappointed in the car it seems to be a nice car for the value that you pay for it but I don't think it's a long-term car. It's great for short distances and in town, not so great for long-dist. rides although does do well in cross winds.

You couldn't pay me to buy another Spark

I purchased my 2014 Spark as a commuter car to get me to and from work (a total of 110 miles per day), while the MPH was great (average 45), I have had more issues with this car than any other - Coolant reservoir leak that required it be entirely replaced. Weather stripping on the hatch back was faulty, and leaked rain water into the trunk, also required replacement. The transmission blew with normal driving at under 75,000 miles, when I got it replaced (still under warranty thankfully), the mechanic told me they had so many issues with the transmission for this car that they couldn't make them fast enough - I had to wait a month to get my car back. Now the engine light is back on, the idle dropped below normal levels, and fluctuates. I'm just waiting to take it in on Monday to have them tell me I have a problem with my alternator or some such. On top of all that, this car has already had 5 recalls. Nope. I would never buy another Spark, or Chevrolet for that matter. When friends ask why I don't buy domestic - this will be my personal example as to why. Complete garbage.
