Love my Spark!
My Spark is the perfect look and style for me personally. It was also very inexpensive for a brand new car, though it has always been quite reliable and performed to my needs. It is obviously not a speedy car, but that is not what you're looking for when buying a Spark. It can also be a bit cramped when carrying multiple passengers and luggage, but I still like the conveniently small size of the car when parking and such. It has also pretty good gas mileage. My particular Spark does not have the conveniences of some (such as power locks), but I would not trade it in for another while it still operates even adequately.

fuel saver for the win
I am now commuting 97 miles one way to work and I am glad I was able to trade in my jeep wrangler for this fuel saver. So far it is a good car, its nothing high end and I think most peoples expectations on this vehicle are too high, I have a no thrills no options car that gets great gas mileage and it didn't cost me an arm and a leg. I have the 5 speed manual and it gets up an goes pretty quick. I have read the automatic transmission vehicles are jerky and have a hard time getting up to speed. I highly recommend the manual. the dash cluster is a bit weird at first, and the shifter is a little close to the seat but so far this car has room for me and I am 6' 0'' and about 280 pounds.

Tiny, I
Fastest car with 13000 miles on it. So far it seems to be great I will see how it handles in the winter to know if it is the right car that I should have bought. The price was not too bad and I still had a bumper to bumper warranty left on it my family thinks I'm crazy forgetting such a little car but for the amount of driving I do back and forward to work I thought it would be perfect considering nobody else will be driving it with me there isn't many bells and whistles and I do miss the automatic door locks but other than that it seems so far to be good. In a few years I'll let you know what I really think about it

Reliable, lots of extras, fun to drive, easy park!
Have owned my manual trans 2LT for two years. PROS: Responsive transmission, very agile, state of the art electronics, and a lot of unexpected extras like heated seats, fog lights, bluetooth, and best of all I can easily locate it using my smart phone. Impressive mileage, size means more parking selections, four doors mean easy in-and-out for back seat passengers who say the back comfortable. Pleasantly surprised at how much cargo it can hold. CONS: Not many, mostly minor. Some cars get better mileage. Kind of a bumpy ride. Speakers were just okay. No moonroof option. Does not hold value as well as some imports.

Excellent Little Car
I picked up a 2014 1LT CVT with 40k miles from a used car dealership with all the recalls already taken care of and a 5 year 50,000 warranty. I am not a small guy, 6' 300lbs and use it predominately on the highway for my commute. I fit into it with ease and it is powerful enough to allow me to pass going up a mountain pass on my daily commute (I live at over 6000ft). It handles great albeit the steering is numb but the ride is a bit rougher than bigger cars. Interior fit and finish is great and being that it's the 1LT it has the infotainment system, bluetooth, hands free and OnStar which I love. No mechanical issues and the CVT transmission is smooth

Not a good car
I rented this vehicle from a rental car agency. Drove 232 miles in total for the day. Not a big fan. I have a 2003 Toyota Corolla with 184,000+ miles on it.. After I drove the Spark and returned the vehicle and I drove my Toyota back home, felt the difference is night and day. That Spark had around 37,000 miles on the odometer. What I didn't like is that dash board on Spark is small and its sticking out "in your face". The seats was too small and it felts so "confined" and "caged" and I am not really that big of a person, am average at 5'7 weigh 155 lbs. After only 37,000 miles when I pressed on thegas its already jerky and the engines "struggles" to get traction already? And my old clunky Toyota with 184k+ miles still running smooth and runs like it has less than 10k miles on it. Had a terrible experience in Spark ... I DO NOT, WILL NOT, EVER BUY THIS FOR MYSELF NOR WILL I EVER RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE By the way, I drove total of 232 miles at it took 7.914 gallons of gas to fill it back up so it averaged around 29 mpg, not really a big fuel saver either.

RED
I bought my 2012 LT2 and have really enjoyed it. Had it for 1 1/2 years and had no issues. I did have the recalls fixed and although the air conditioning is not the best, I really love the ride. The gas mileage is great, getting 40-41 on the highway, and 35-37 in town.

I like It
I just purchased the car 9 days ago with 27k on it. So far, it seems to be running fine. I was alerted to the recalls on it (PCV valve, hood latch, A/C issue) which I took it into a dealer last Friday and all was completed. I now show no open recalls for my VIN number. I have to admit that some of the negative reviews on the Chevy Spark Complaint Forum have scared me, but the only thing I have noticed with it is that 5 out of 10 times it will stall when I put it in park (keep in mind, this did not happen until after the recalls were fixed) so not sure if this had something to do with it or not. I really don't care that it shuts off in park because I would just be turning it off anyway. It has not died in traffic, etc. I think it accelerates just fine (of course, I don't floor it like a race car either). I mean, for the price, it seems to be doing it's job. Most people have made fun of me about the size (UNTIL) after they actually look in it then they change their tune. Anyway, hope this helps some of you looking at them.

Great Car
On May 17, 2015 we left for a trip of a lifetime around the United States and traveled 7,917 miles in 26 days. We started in Lancaster, PA went south to Kentucky to a friends house and to New Mexico to another friend. To Lancaster, Calf, San Francisco, Giant Redwoods, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, South Dakota, Minnesota,Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio back to Pa. We traveled up and down mountains, speeds of 80 miles per hour and our 1913 Spark had no problem and it was great now we think of a new Spark. We love our great big Spark and our friend who said he could never fit in the car because he is 6 feet , fit just perfectly comfortable and was surprised. Love the little Spark
