Will never drive anything other than a Tahoe now.

By far the most comfortable car I've owned and very reliable. My last 2 cars have been Tahoes, and the 3 before them were Jeep SUVs. By far the happiest with this year and model of TAhoe.

Enjoy the ride

I recently purchased a 2011 Chevy Tahoe LT with 61,000 miles. I traded in my 2010 Cadillac SRX. I can not believe how much smoother the ride is in the Tahoe. You here people talk about how smooth a Cadillac ride is, but there is no comparison to this truck. I have not had the truck for very long but it seems like it is very durable and I will have it for a long time to come!

Love it!

I absolutely love the Tahoe! I have wanted one since 2005! It has everything I want in a vehicle except for the sunroof! But they do come with them! SOMEDAY!

Best vehicle available

I had this truck for over 5 years. My wife wanted to try something different (Ford) and hers was 4 years newer and my Chevy Tahoe was more comfortable and easier to drive. I never had any issues with it other than normal wear and tear. I will always drive these!

Chevy Tough

Even after 6 years it still looks, drives, and feels like new! The 5.3 V8 is 1 of the toughest, longest lasting engines made!

Good SUV-but lack of cargo space is a problem

I always loved the look of the Tahoe. They are bigger, but have a nice sleek appearance to them. I have 3 small children, and getting the 2nd row captain's chairs were a must for easy access to the 3rd row. Lots of leg room for everyone, and having the DVD system was great for longer trips. I have had it for about 35,000 miles, and with regular oil changes, have had very little issues besides a ball bearing going out. Tow package and power were great, and I love being higher up. Here is my big negative with the Tahoe-lack of cargo space. With all three rows in, there is room for about one row of groceries in the back. Fitting suitcases, strollers, or anything else behind the third row is a MAJOR issue. If you need to carry lots of cargo, the Suburban is probably a better bet. Overall, I have really enjoyed the Tahoe, but the lack of space has forced me to look elsewhere to better fit our needs.

Fair at Best

Have owned a 2011 Tahoe for almost a year. Bought my 2011 Tahoe with only 17,000 miles, now has 28,000 miles. Okay on highway, drives like a whale around town. Transmission hunts for the right gear around town. It is black, the least little thing leaves a scratch. Had to replace the struts that hold up back door, Chevy should buy reliable parts. Seats do not adjust for much comfort. It is VERY hot in the sun. I've never owned a car that makes you feel more uncomfortable in the summer than this one. Too expensive to trade in for another, would lose too much money. Gas mileage around town about 10 mpg, on the hwy about 18 mpg. There is water coming in someplace, under driver's carpet is soaked, need to get it into the dealer to get fixed. Over priced, over rated cars. If you need a car for the snow, this would be your pick, other than that, try something else. Too bad car companies can't guarantee a trouble free car with quality parts for many years. They use such cheap plastics inside, and thinner steel and glass than the older models.

Was failing from the start

First the O2 sensors failed. Next the radio and odometer lights dim or fail. Tailgate shocks have failed and replaced twice. The gasoline intake solenoid failed making it impossible to fill tank unless you physically manipulated the nozzle on and off. Now the dashboard cracked on the right side and last but not least the door handles on front seat passenger side lost chrome covering and cause sharp cuts to hand. Vehicle has only 53K miles. Bought this new and am disappointed. Had a 2006 and never had problems.

Love this truck!

I had wanted to get a bigger vehicle and get back to having 4 wheel drive due to the winters in Michigan. I traded in my Traverse for this vehicle. I love the size and feel of this vehicle! I am a smaller person so being higher up and in a larger vehicle makes me feel more safe as well as my family will be more safe. I will feel more comfortable this winter driving knowing that I have the option of the 4 wheel drive so that I won't get stuck in my driveway this winter. The only negative is that I wished that the third row seats folded flat like they do in the Traverse and the Trailblazer. It takes away some of the cargo space.
