2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer consumer reviews

This SUV was reliable and trustworthy for my small family. I enjoyed driving it. Not so great for travel or living toonfar from your employer.

Looks great, Runs perfect and is very reliable. Starts in an instant, well maintained solid transportation. Leather, Michelin's, new brakes, rear shocks, just inspected. Just do not need this anymore, no rush to sell but will make a great car for select owner.

I bought this as a back up vehicle and so far it has worked out okay. I test drove a dodge caravan which had been used as a rental vehicle and I almost traded my Chevy for that van. The rear space is the best feature of the Chevy trailblazer. It is expensive to update. Some of the interior parts cost to order and replace. The dealer that sold it to me kept it in good shape. The seats, windows and power locks were kept for the next buyer.

Used to own a 2002 Trailblazer LTZ, that poor thing. It was a few years ago in my wilder days and I can say from the fact that it was still a running driving vehicle the day I sold it that the trailblazer is a reliable vehicle. Other than daily driving it for 2 year the trailblazer frequenlty found itself in a muddy field or back road doing doughnuts (Power steering broke) or getting stuck in 2-3 feet of mud and trying to get my self unstuck and burying it even more (Rear tire shredded, broke front axle). After all I put it through after replacing the tire and axle I continued to daily drive it without problem. Performed great in winter weather, drove 60 ish miles though 10 inches of snow at 40 mph. I can only imagine how long one of these vehicles would last if taken care of.

HIGH Safety results, been driving it for 5 years now love it hasn't let me down just looking for something smaller though for gas

the best built suv for the money sold in its' class bar none. as far as safety goes we could not ask for a better car to put our family in that said it all .

This vehicle has met my every need, I am disabled and needed all the comfort that a vehicle can give. With the security of OnStar, it made my every Drive feel safe. I owned three Trailblazers in the last 20 years and loved each and every one of them. They are a very low maintenance truck. I've also had a lot of fun with the truck four wheeling on the beach. The 4 x 4 works like no other, strong and dependable. I loved the body style, especially when I outfitted Halo Eagle Eye headlights and new rims and bigger tires on it. It is also built solid, I've been hit and the truck didn't move nor did the body break. I was heartbroken when they stopped making them in 2010. Best of all they hold their value very well.

It is an SUV that handles snow very well , but a gas guzzler. It had transmission shifting issues.The 4 wheel drive knob will shift by itself from 2-4 wheel as the car in low gear thus making steering very hard.
