One of the most comfortable SUV's

I have had my Trailblazer for 4 years now and I have only had to replace the battery. It is a soft ride and handles like a car. For females or smaller framed people, it is very comfortable for the driver (which is the primary reason I bought it). All controls are within easy reach so you don't have the distraction of leaning over to change radio stations, air controls, etc. The only thing I don't care for is all the plastic of the dash/interior, but to me that is minor. All the pluses definitely outweigh this one negative for me. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone looking for reliability and easy handling. It also has plenty of power for passing and accelerating on the highway which makes me feel safer.

Wish i never bought it.

this is one of the most disapointing vehicles i have ever owned. its comfortable for long rides and is fairly quiet. the downside is the brakes need replacing on a less than yearly basis, button for radio get stuck, engine cant handle towing a snowmobile trailor without bucking or struggling up hills. You need side passenger door painted on a yearly basis because stones in road chip paint off the door without any shields to protect it. All maintanance besides oil has to be done by a mechanic because they bury the spark plugs air filter and cabin filter. This is before the 13 recalls it has had. I thought the Ford Windstar 96' was bad this vehicle is much worse. time to get an explorer.

Extreamly Dissapointing

I have never owned such a dissapointing SUV. I have had countless problems with this truck, I am replacing break pads every few months, rust is taking over the truck and the interrior is very poor. The plastic and the knobs feel very fragil and cheap. I bought the truck used, but only with about 20,000 miles. I would never reccomend this truck or any GM in general to any one, I am currently looking into a Toyota or Honda.

Great vehicle!

I love this truck! It rides great; my wife loves it too. There's room for my family of 5 and the features are great, making for a comfortable ride, even on long trips.

Excellent drive

The TrailBlazer is an excellent SUV. On all of the mid size SUV the TrailBlazer has the biggest. Driving feels like very smoth unlike the Ford Explorer. The engine has some of the torque force in the industry which gives you more for the milage.

disappointed in trailblazer

Purchased used with 25K miles. Nice ride, good gas milage, excellent for long trips, lots of room. Too many problems... fan clutch at 31K, CD player 33K, rusty deck hinges and blots, 35K, alternator 55K, door moldings falling off rear doors since ownership, all 4 brake rotors rusted beyond resurfacing at 80K, cost $955 at dealership...GM says thats within expectations and acceptable life, blistering paint on hood lip...must be repainted at 85K, foged-out middle rear brake light cover 60K, paint chiped off new CD player buttons, air conditioner warm air, cold air, warm air since ownership.
