Chevy Trailblazer LS '06 > good so far
I had been driving a 94 Cherokee Sport for >11 yrs prior to this purchase, but was needing more legroom for longer rides and the TB was the only truck model SUV that had the legroom I was looking for. Having been used to a 'no-frills' SUV for so many yrs, I'm still getting used to all the electronic controls that came std in this truck. {will report later on that whether it is my learning curve or if it really is a delay in the electronic vs mechanical controls} The one thing I was slightly worried about before the purchase was the handling compared to my (turn on a dime with a nickel change) Cherokee, but have done a few U-turns in pretty tight situations and have likewise had ample opportunity to back-in and parallel park without any horrible blind spot issues (the TB sits up a bit higher, so I sometimes have to adj the mirror down to see the lines, but I'll get over that) I drive to work on an Interstate for most of my commute, but the speeds traveled are seldom hwy speeds, so consider my MPG as a urban/hwy blend and am getting between 17-18mpg. The Cherokee was a bit faster off the blocks, but the TB reaches a higher top end, so smoothly, I have to be careful about exceeding the speed limit. *** I've only had this truck for six weeks, so may chime in later with an update, but am certainly pleased with my purchase thus far.

broken chevy man
I have owned Chevy all my life but if they don't improve the brake package on the SUV's I will not own another! With that aside, The wheel bearing assembly is also a HUGE problem and VERY costly!!

Nice suv
I really love our 2006 trailblazer. We have owned it for a little over a year now. The only thing that bothers me is the fact that there is no room in the front for my purse or other small belongings. It would be nice if the shifter was on the steering wheel. That would make more space in front. I feel a little cramped with the new design. Otherwise it runs smooth, outside looks great, roomy in the back and trunk, and very reliable. Its a gas guzzler but all Suvs are!

LUV IT
I love the Trailblazer it rides great and runs great. I have put 34000 miles on mine and a few minor issues that the dealer warranty took care of also a plus is the manufactuers warranty on the drive train. I hope they keep making them.

great SUV
I love our Trailblazer. It is roomy, comfortable, gets okay mileage, and is fun to drive. We have had no real issues other than standard maintenance in the vehicle. Currently with 36,000 miles, we hope to get alot more from this truck in the future.

Great Family SUV!!!
We leased this vehicle brand new in 06' fully loaded, with leather heated seats, moon roof, Entertainment pkg, On-star, Navigation, everything electric. This SUV is the poor man's version of the cadillac escalade. It has all of the luxury items you can ask for and incredible ride for about 1/2 the price of it's cadillac cousin. We have the extended version and it seats 7 very comfortably, even better and roomier than the 06 Honda Pilot. We have had up to eight with no problem and you still have room in the back for a weeks worth of groceries. All the back seats fold flat and you can fit 4x8 ply wood flat with the hatch closed! The ride is smooth, excellent in the heavy snow and very sure footed. It has 40K miles to date with no problems. Just had to change tires once. We love it so much we are buying it when the lease is up in 09'. Can't find an 09' today with all this for the price and as roomy. Yes, the gas mileage isn't great, but I found it competitive with today's 09 SUV's. I get 20 Hwy at 60-65mph and 16-18 city keeping RPM's below 2K. The vehicle tows our boat with ease. You don't even know you trailering. I would recommend an 09' version but GM isn't making them anymore in favor of newer styles.

Happy with my SS
Purchased my SS used a few months ago. The gas milage is terrible but i knew that when i purchased it. It's an extremly fast truck and very comfortable on a long trip. Styling is a mater of opinion, but i hate the look of the taillights. I would definatly recommend this truck.

Worst Car I have EVER owned
Ever since we have purchased the 2006 Chevy Trailblazer it has been nothing but trouble!! The leather has came up from the door panel. The glove compartment falls all the time for no apparent reason. Also there is some black tar leaking by the license plate. Now to top it off my power steering is out and we have only had this car for a year and half. Sorry to say I would never purchase or recommend a Chevy!!!

A Nice All Around SUV
Owned for 2 yrs, 35000 miles. Get 22 mpg with the a/c on or off. HWY. Has straight 6. Plenty of power when ask for. Tows well, Handles well. Looks Nice. Interior is good with the exception of rear seats, need to recline some what! Buy molded mud flaps or tires will pick up small rocks and it will chip the paint. Love the security of Onstar. You did good G.M.
