Expensive junk. Engine problems that can be fatal

Nearly had a fatal crash due to which chevorlet is not taking response on engine failures which has happened to many others no recalls have been made. Recalls on air bags and seat belts how can they pride themselves on advertising being the top choice or have been awarded. Be aware you may need a whole new engine depending on the severity of Your engine and can be fatal engine stalls and loss of control when it shakes on occasion. Most see engine problems within 50,000 miles to 100,000 so the warranty will not cover it WHEN it happens while you still need to pay it off like i do currently out of a car and luck. I am thankful i survived it was 11 p.m. coming home with my 2 year old. The road was thankfully empty except road workers who in turn were worried of our safety since it was up in smoke amd shaking to a stop they thought the car was going to explode they put up flares and cones since it was in the middle of a freeway and flaged down a police car that helped push it to the side to get it towed.

Not too bad for my first SUV

This car is pretty decent, I've only owned front wheel drive vehicles. Decided to go for the 7 passenger SUV even though im single and have one dog. However, the car has really proven its worth--excellent gas mileage on the highway (I drove it from Pennsylvania to Florida and back) however, im not really impressed with the backup camera located in the rear view mirror. Rear wiper isn't good quality either. but overall I will definitely keep it, worth the money!

Worst car I’ve ever owned

This car to start has the worst blind spots. Not a good choice for a short person. The driver side seat is nearly impossible to adjust To a safe comfortable position. The headrest’s are awkwardly leaning toward your head. With no option to adjust other then up or down. Many engine issues. This car has cost me more then I want to mention in repairs. And each time a repair is made something else goes. Never an easy fix. Lift gate I thought at first was great since you can control it from the inside of your car. But it kind of has a mind of its own. It will close with no warning causing injury. Seatbelts are wonky sometimes the will not lock. So be prepared for a ticket or at worst case major injury. That’s just the tip of the iceberg. DONT buy this car.

Great family car

Car was known for problems with timing chain. My car was repaired, and after many miles, it was extremely reliable and luxurious to drive. I would buy this car again!

Repairs are a nightmare

Replacing headlamps are a nightmare. You have to go in tire well, unscrew flap, squeeze your tiny arm up inside and TRY to find the bulb! Then pull it out and replace it blindly the same way! To replace at shops, cost can run upwards of $300 per side. That is just for high beam. Low beam, you have to remove this shield in engine and squeeze tiny arm down blindly finding bulb and replace same way!

I bought my Traverse five years ago . It had 56,000 miles . It know has 150,000 miles . I have kept all maintenance up on it . The traverse is fast and quite and a very nice road car . Mpg is good at 22hwy and 17 in town . It hauls kids around beautifully. The Traverse is very reliable . I highly recommend it . I will buy another one .

fits my lifestyle perfectly

this vehicle fits all facets of my life perfectly. i have three children and they fit easily with the third row seat. it has a ton of cargo room, and with the incar entertainment system, the kids are nice and quiet on long drives. it can easily fit an 8' 2x4 with room to spare. interior design is nice, and exterior looks good as well.
