2010 Chevrolet Traverse consumer reviews

I bought this vehicle and then within the first month Replaced wheel bearings, Ball joint, Motor, and now the trans is jumping at 40mph and up. This thing is huge and has everything my growing family needs and wants but it is the most unreliable thing I have ever owned. I am now double the price I payed for the car in just repairs. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this vehicle. I had 2 2004 impalas and never had a problem with them period. I believe it is the traverse itself and Chevy should help 2009-2010 Traverse owners with their xxxxty transmission. The waveplate is known to be faulty but they won't recall it because to change it you need to drop down the motor and trans to fix it and that would cost too much. Stay away from the traverse!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This car was exactly what my family needed at the time and it has done great thing for us. We drive it all the time and it is a great car for any purpose

I love my traverse. I have the top model and love it. My only thing is I have 2 sunroofs and the back one you can see out it but it doesn’t open. Why even have it if you can’t open it etc. I love my powered back door. Not sure why they didn’t put heated seats in mine though. I also have a rav 4 (2015) and love my traverse a million times more than my rav. I feel safe and the seats are comfortable

It's lasted me currently sitting over 215k. And still driving strong no issues. Love this car ready to get another one maybe a couple yrs newer.

I think it's a reasonable car had it been built correctly it would be great but the fact these cars motors don't last longer than about 140,000 is junk .....

This car has been very reliable, drives great and a nice ride. It has tons of room and has been great for traveling or just hauling everyone around.

My wife?s daily driver for the past 8 years. Very reliable and safe with all-wheel drive and seating for 8! Goes great in the snow!
