Great looks and mileage
Fantastic looks with 27 miles per gallon in city / 30 miles per gallon on highways. Classy interior with good use of technology.

A fun car that a grown man can enjoy. I am 6'4 and 230 lbs. Most of the verts I considered were not comfortable. I really like this car.

value of car
The car is over priced...my 2004 Dodge stratus costs alot less and has the same 2.4l engine with the same gas mileage. It cost a lot less than the sebring so buy an older stratus with low miles and enjoy your savings.

Most fun Car I've ever owned
Love being able to drive around with the top down - it goes up an down so easily. We have had 4 adults in it - although there is not much leg room in the rear seat it is manageable. When the top is down there is sufficient space in the trunk for a couple of bags of groceries. I am so happy we bought this car!

Overall Very Pleased
I purchased a used 2008 Chrysler Sebring LX Convertible with the 4 cynlinder engine. It's very sleek exterior design will turn heads and the interior and dash is just as nice. The only downside is that the backseats are a bit small, but I can understand since the rest of the interior and trunk have plenty of space. The 4 cynlinder engine takes some getting used to, especially after owning a V6 SUV, because of it's lack of acceleration but it's good enough for me. The upside to Chrysler's proclaimed "World Engine" is the gas mileage, I average 30 highway 24-city, and that helps when gas prices continue to rise to $4 and above. Also since it's completely American made vehicle parts shouldn't increase due to recent events. I purchased my Sebring for an excellent price from a dealership and I, of course, asked for a Carfax. There are recalls for minor problems, like a tire pressure light on the dashboard, but ANY Chrysler dealership will fix ANY recall problem for free and all recalls are listed online. For the styling, price, and MPG there isn't a better deal and I plan on driving this baby into the ground before I'm done with it.

Ragtop Heaven
Bought an 08 Limited convertible. Has 28K now. Consistantly gets 30+ on the highway with the V6. Rides smooth and has plenty of power. uConnect with navigation is great for hands free talking on your cell. Other than one recall, I've only changed the oil and rotated the tires. Lots of room inside and in the trunk - even with the top down. This is a great ragtop. I'll buy another when the time comes.

Great car for the money
When I purchased my first sebring a 2007 in 2009 I was very pleased with the car overall. The look and it's performance was great. So when I totalled that car a year later it was only natural that I wanted the very same car again. The car held its value and I had monies left over to go towards a new vehicle. This time I purchase a 2008 and I couldn't beat the price. I am a very happy Chrysler Sebring owner.

Great car and deal - convertible
I bought used rental car in California. Only around $12k and was Chrysler certified. Reliable...a loose battery cable has been the only problem and that was after the dealership put in a new battery. I get between 26-30 MPG on the 2.4l. Enough power for me, with a good ride on the 16" tires. Overall, a bargan for a nice looking reliable car. A new car was at least $25k, so I got a great deal. Not sure why so many bad reviews.

Horrible first choice
I'm 18 years old, have a part time low paying job, and am a full time college student. This February, I brought my 2008 Chrysler Sebring LX. The outside styling was nice, and during the test drive and afterwards I loved the handling and interior design, as well as the amount of space inside the car. All these things SHOULD make a good car. Unfortunately, in this case, they don't. About two weeks after I brought it the engine wouldn't start when I put the key in the ignition. Took it to the dealer since it was covered under warranty. I did this 4 times for the same problem before it finally was fixed; turns out it was one corroded wire they had to replace. So after that, it ran fine, I thought my problems were over. A few months later, I noticed the brakes starting to squeak, and the brake pressure was reduced to almost nothing. Then one night, at around 11 p.m. when I got off of work, I went to switch my car out of park, and the gear wouldn't budge, no matter what I did. So I had to leave the car at my work overnight and have it towed in the morning. Later that day I came to find out that the transmission box and the brakes had to be replaced, which cost about $670. I just got the car back today from the shop, and am trading it in right away, maybe get a Dodge Caliber or something to replace it. One thing I'll be sure not to do though is buy a Chrysler product again until they prove they can make a reliable sedan.

buy limited only
I bought mine 9 months old with 9400 miles on it for half of list price. I tried 4 cyl and touring models and after driving the limited model found it to be far superior. Better motor and 6 speed trans = smooth, quiet and plenty of power. average trip is 1300 mi and the gas mileage is fantastic. The only prob I have had is the failure of three tire pressure indicator valves which were replaced under warranty(chrysler corp said "no" but dealers said "yes")
