2008 Dodge Avenger consumer reviews

Love driving this car, I’m the original owner and now my son has it. However I’m still trying to find the solution to the surge & stall esp in wet weather repair. Since 2008 until 2019 I still do not see a recall or solution to this popular issue. Also the truck deck lid has to be opened slowly if wet or snow or will dump into truck vs the channel.

This car was by far my best vehicle ever. It served me well for over 10 years with no problems. I loved the look of it and great milage.

My Avenger was an R/T with navigation. It did chew up bearings, but nonetheless fabulous car! So comfortable, so fast, so good looking. I miss my Dodge. Best dealer. Danbury Dodge. Harry. Great Service Department. Had 125k miles on car.

Nice riding automobile that is fun to drive and sharp looking as well too. Comfortable driving and riding and lots of room for passengers too.

We bought this to use as a every day driver and to haul out fur babies in . Nice front wheel drive that is easy on gas and handles really nice. You do sit a little low are the steering wheel is not to high even when adjusted to the highest level

It?s the closest you can get to a charger It was reliable it all weather, AC immediately gets cool. Gas takes about $25-30 depending on gas prices.

This 2008 Dodge Avenger sxt is junk I bought it used from my local dodge dealership last year it keeps giving me problems now I got to put a radiator axel seals alternator and spark plugs plug wires and the lifters is knocking as well worse car I have ever owned it stays in the garage more then it does on the road stay away from dodge avengers if u got 1 get rid of it ASAP

The battery is in the worst place to access and many small shops won't replace it (walmart, valvoline, etc...) because of the location. UNDER THE WHEEL WELL! It has random electrical issues that stall the car at red lights or stop signs when it rains and there is no diagnostic that can find it. You're driving this car on God's good graces basically. All in all I'd say it performs well, when it works. I've spent way more repairing it than what its worth.

Ive had my avenger sxt for 6 years i absolutely love my car. No major repairs ive replaced 2 diffrent $30 parts and have replaced break pads and routine oil changes and tires but nothing major. Very dependable car.

I?ve had this vehicle for over nine years. It has exceeded my expectations in terms of performance. I?ve never had a major issue with it. As a matter of fact, it?s so reliable that I purchased another one! I really wish Dodge had not discontinued the model.
