Better than you would think

A lot of car magazines and forums and what not are bagging on this car, but I’m giving an honest review. There are shortcomings, but there are a lot of things to like about this vehicle, as well. As a background, I owned a Fiesta hatchback that I loved. First thing that caught my eye about this car is that it just slightly longer than the Fiesta. This thing can fit in any space and moves around the city effortlessly. However, out of all the cars in this segment, this thing feels the most like an SUV. It’s competitors feel and look like cars. This car has a more rugged look and actually drives like an SUV while maintaining the practicality of a subcompact. Power is an issue. Mine has the 1.0 Ecoboost, and while it’s a great engine, it’s just not enough power for this car. It’s not dangerous to drive or anything like that, but more power would elevate this car greatly. Along these lines, the fuel economy is not awful (I’m averaging 29 mpg), but with a 12 gallon tank, I’m filling this up very often (although the fillups are cheap.) It could use a bigger gas tank, but not sure where they would be able to put it. The interior is pretty average for the class, but this does come with Ford’s amazing sync 3 infotainment system with apple car play. Mine also has the winter package, which is welcome in this climate. This is he SE version, and I got a good price, so I’m happy with the value. However, I couldn’t imagine paying close to $30K for the Titanium model. Stick with the lower trains. I haven’t had any reliability issues. This engine has been around for a long time as has this car in other countries. One advantage that people may overlook is that because this car has been around, its reliability should theoretically be better than a.brand new model, but that remains to be seen. Overall, I am happy with my purchase. It is a good upgrade over the Fiesta for me, but there are drawbacks. I would suggest not overlooking this if you’re in the market for a subcompact SUV. Go check it out. It gets a way worse rap than it deserves.

Only had 3 weeks - love it!

I was replacing a Ford Escape that I had for 14 years. I was very satisfied with the Escape but thought I would try a slightly smaller SUV. So far I am very satisfied.

Great car, heated seat, video, etc., love it.

Love it so far, only had it barely 3 hours, but I'm excited to have it. It's just the right size, color, warm & cozy.

Great Vehicle!!

I was looking for a small SUV for my family. This one has all the features I needed for a better price! The Ford Sync is great and I’m able to use Spotify, Google Maps, etc on the screen. My calls are also crystal clear, which was an issue with my previous Bluetooth compatible car. The only drawback for me was that I did lose some cargo space in the back, but all the other perks more than make up for it!

Love, love, love it

An SUV that really fits my needs. I have gone from the Explorer to the Escape and now the Eco-Sport. The small size with the security of 4 drive is great!

The fastest and most reliable vehicle I own.

This vehicle meets all of my needs. The only thing I would add is just a little more cargo space. The engine works like a champ, giving you better gas mileage. I love the auto start-stop tech on it. Saves gas in the city when I'm stopped at a traffic light or stuck in traffic. I have been able to get to a high speed with little effort, execute sharp turns with no problems, get around slower traffic, and that remote starter is amazing. Nothing like warming up the vehicle on a cold winter morning without leaving the warmth of the house.

great size and driving experience. I would recommend this vehicle and the Dealership to anyone looking to buy a car. My Ecosport has everything you would want in a car.

A cool small SUV, with strength of any SUV.

This SUV, ECoSport, is one of the best, compact SUVs I have ever driven. I traveled and used many different cars and SUVs for the 8 years. I had narrowed down to Ford, Honda, Hyundai & Subaru, had driven sev Ford Edge & saw this smaller version, took it for a test drive, compared it in an Edge test drive, and found the EcoSport perfect for me. And, it will pull my 18’ Buccaneer boat, with all my gear stored in the back. WINNER of a car, thanks Ford!
