Very reliable vehicle!

Overall very good vehicle. We have the EcoBoost version that gives a tremendous fuel consumption. Very smooth ride, you can barely hear the engine. Excellent Audio too.

Best car I have ever owned

I love my 2013 Ford Edge, it has almost all the features I want it to have. I would have liked it to be awd/fwd but it wasn't a deal breaker. I love the my Ford touch and the panoramic vista sunroof.

Best so far...

I've owned many autos in my 79 years. I used to drive 25k miles a year before retiring. I needed a medium sized SUV that would pull a small trailer now and then. The Edge is doing a great job in absolute comfort. I bought the 2013 in 2015 with 14k miles. It came loaded with every option and leather. I like everything about it. I don't know if I'll ever part with this auto.

Ford Edge for Comfort, Style & Safety!

This is my second Ford Edge. The first was a SE. The SE was a great car, looked nice and not one problem to mention. I drove it for 2 years. Sadly my daughter and I were involved in a wreck in this Edge & it was totaled. Another driver passed a tractor trailer on the wrong side (shoulder) of the road and hit us, knocking us into another car. The reason I am adding this is, the curtain & side of front seat airbags in the edge were amazing. Windows were broken out during impact and NO glass was inside of the car, we were not injured, other than soreness & bruising. Everyone was amazed at how efficiently the airbags preformed. That is the reason for Safety in the title. Made a believer out of us and that is as important as any other feature. Although I hope no one has to discover how well they work, including us again, it is peace of mind to know this. I now have a Ford Edge SEL and I just love it! How it drives, performs, looks, style, and its amazing on gas usage as was my first Edge. Highly Recommend!!

The car looks great but I seem to have issues

I love the look and style of this car but it has constant issues. I have put over $1000 in work in the past two months and now the door ajar light keeps coming on two doors. I read it will be about $600 per door. It's an issue that Ford is well aware of but does not seem to care.

Loved it until....

I have owned my 2013 Ford Edge for 3 1/2 years now. I have loved it....until recently. In december of 2016 it started to overheat randomly, no rhyme or reason. In actuality, it wasnt really overheating, it just thinks it is. If we stopped and removed the cap on the coolant reserve tank, we were good to go almost immediately. I had our local Ford garage look at it and they insisted there was nothing wrong. (this is also where we purchased the car). It continued. We finally insisted that they replace the thermostat. That seemed to work for a few months. Recently it started doing the same thing. Shortly after, my check engine light came on, so back to the garage we went. They still couldnt figure out what the problem was, but said i needed to replace the master cylanoid. Dont know what it is, but was told it was a $500 repair. So since i need a car, i had them do the repair. The check engine light went off and i left to see my daughter 3 1/2 hours away. The trip down was fine, but the trip back the car left me stranded on the interstate, then in a very bad section of some town. "overheated" 5 times by the time i had made it an hour. I did discover that if i press on the gas when the temperture gauge starts to climb, it goes right back down. I did this 7 more times to finally make it home 2 hours later than expected. Called the Ford garage the next day and explained everything to them again. the response was, "that's interesting, we'll check on a few things". Havent heard from them since, that was 3 days ago. What is happening to my car??? I need a reliable vehicle. It's only 3 1/2 years old, i dont think i should have this kind of problem!!! Wish i could find out whats wrong and how to fix it.
