2013 Ford Edge consumer reviews

The look of the Ford Edge is awesome! The options are great but there are a lot of things that annoy me after owning it for a while. Some people may not care about these things as they are trivial. I have the Edge Limited AWD with the Sony radio. Dislikes: I hate that the fan speed is directly in front of the shifter, it makes it very difficult to reach. I understand you can set the speed through the touch screen or even the programmable dash, but even though it's in a bad spot by the shifter, still seems the easiest. I don't like where the door handles are at on the inside of the front doors. It makes it feel difficult to pull the doors close, and then when opening the doors, it's hard to control them (especially in the wind). I don't like that there is no storage space in front of the shifter and that it is below the shifter. I always walk off without things when I put them down there. It bugs me that the back window is so hard to clean. It gets dirty very easily and you can't get a squeegee all the way to the top of the window because the wing hangs down over it. The only way to clean your back window is going through the car wash or with a towel and glass cleaner. I don't like that you can barely fit your arm between the back seat and the roof. If you want to put anything at all in the back, you have to open the back hatch. I also don't like the middle seat having a headrest, it makes it more difficult to see out the rearview mirror. I absolutely HATE that if you keep the car running, it honks twice really loud when you close any door. I got out to go to the house to get my dog, honked twice when I closed the drivers door, then put my dog in the back seat, shut the door and honked again. It also honks when you shut the rear hatch if the fob is not in the vehicle. It's really really annoying! Pros: Very classy and luxury looking. Has plenty of power. Love the programmable dash. Love the vista roof and even though I've never sat in the back seat, I like that they recline. I really like the automatic rear hatch and the fob sensing door handles and keyless pushbutton start. I never have to take the fob out of my pocket. Overall when I look at my Edge, I really like the way it looks and it's comfortable for me. If you can get over the small things above, it's a great vehicle. Those don't affect the way it runs and drives, just annoyances, but I wouldn't buy this vehicle again.

I love this car! Very comfortable and travels smoothly. My kids love it and so do I. Has a sunroof and heated seats. Great on gas too!

Love it very nice ride comfortable roomy handles well on the road. Sound system is awesome love all the bells and whistles. I’m on team Ford.

This vehicle has a get up and go like no other. I have loved owning this car just ready for a truck. The DVD System works great for the kids and awesome surround sound when you want to jam.

This SUV is exactly what I was looking for with leather interior, all the bells and whistles, plenty of leg room, big back seat and plenty of space behind the backseat for luggage, groceries, etc. And it rides very smoothly and gets great gas mileage.

I love my Ford Edge it is very spacious and dependable so far! I hope to get many years out of it! Awesomeness al around!

I think it is just okay. This is my first SUV and I am adjusting to the higher ride and blind spots. When wearing a winter coat the front bucket seats are kind of tight. I wish I had gotten the Limited model that has the power folding mirrors and back up parking assist. It is a tight fit getting in and out of my garage.

The Car turned out to be exactly what i was looking for. It was a bit more than i wanted to pay. I am truly happy with my first experiance with Cars.com.

Great vehicle. We now own two and depend on them everyday. Gas mileage is good and car is very solid. This 2013 was purchased to replace a much smaller vehicle. It feels very safe.
