2012 Ford Escape consumer reviews

I had an 08 escape, loved it more than anything! Went out of warranty so I traded it in for an edge. I regretted every moment of that trade. The 2012 escape is the last model before ford streamlined the escapes to look like little mini vans, YUCK! Hate the new look, and just purchased a 2012 escape and am finally getting rid of that edge!!!

This SUV has more room than any of the comparable vehicles of 2012. Lots of leg room in the back, hatch has a great amount of space, plus the seats fold down (2, 1, or all 3) so you get to choose the space you need! Also gets great gas mileage for an SUV!

This car met my needs. The Escape has more leg room than any other car that we test drove. Have had 15 Fords in the past 25 years.

2012 escape 3.0 xlt flex fuel. Got this at around 76,000 miles. I am now just over 100 000. I have never had any issue with it. I have taken this SUV to South Carolina, about 600 miles from me. Does very well on fuel economy for a v6. Also has some get up and go for an escape. Not sure why people say Ford is so bad, I have owned the fusion as well. Better make than any I have owned. Very roomy and I quite. Thanks Ford for the awesome vehicle! I have also towed a trailer loaded with junk, and had no issue. Also has good towing power!

Very dependable vehicle. Needed more room so traded for a new 2014 Chrysler town and country. Worst mistake I've ever made. Nothing but trouble and Chrysler couldn't give a xxxx.

Ford made a great one this year. The exterior style is nice compared to the newer escape models and I really like the big, clear rear window and lack of obvious blind spots. The car gets above expected gas mileage and has had very few maintenance issues (80k+ miles so far). It has got a great amount of space and has really all of the features one could really need. I recommend!

Overall, this has been a really good vehicle for our family. We did have engine trouble withe the car, however, the local Ford dealership was able to replace the engine. I realize that is not a normal thing, but it's worth noting that the dealership was really good about making sure we were taken care of.

I am losing confidence in my vehicle since I had a problem with it and had to get towed. I had it taken to my local Ford Dealer where I get my oil oil changes, etc. and discovered that there was a recall since 2013 that I was never informed about It was the throttle body which had to be replaced. I was never advised of this by the Ford Motor Company or the service department where I regularly brought it.

This car is very sporty, yet stylish and comfortable. Interior is absolutely gorgeous and all of the wireless capabilities are wonderful. I also love the sunroof and the different light colors in the interior you can choose. The seat warmers are a plus also lol. Also has a great sound system. Not bad for stock. ?

This car had everything I was looking for and several things I wasn't looking for but got as a bonus. Great value in a used car.
