I would recommend but not ford

This vehicle style is outstanding but the reliability is not good. Need a new engine on a 4 year old suv with 60,000 miles not good at all

So far, a great little SUV

I feel I may have paid a bit much, but so far have been very happy. The transmission seems a bit slow catching up sometimes, but other than that...happy.

Loved until it had issues ...

Loved this suv until started having issues with check engine light coming on at 35k miles had turbo booster going out, then transmission issues we had a dealership that was very difficult to not only to get in in a fast manner but they didn't seem much interested in listening too or fixing the issues we were having with the car that were all covered by warranty !

Extremely reliable

The escape fit most of my needs. The Escape was mainly used for commuting to work and transporting my family safely. We took multiple long trips of ten plus hours driving as comfortably as that many hours in a car can be. At times it was treated like a truck to haul lumber and building supplies, and move my friends. Overall it was a reliable vehicle that I would recommend. As my family has grown, our need for space has increased, and as a result we have upgraded to the Ford Edge.

Absolutely great car!

I've only owned it since last week, but I'm so glad I made this purchase. It's definitely top notch.

Best car I've owned

I am very impressed with the comfort in the car and the ease of learning all the new gadgets. It handles well and I'm looking forward to taking a vacation in it.

Great vehicle

This car meets all of my needs, it's stylish and performs well. I've other SUV's in the past and the Escape outperforms them all , runs really well in the snow too. Was really hoping to get better gas mileage but 21 around town and 26 on the highway are sufficient. I purchased the Titanium package and was a little shocked at the tire prices and minimal options for the 19" tires I had to replace, hopefully the ones I purchased will last quite awhile.

Test Drive was Meh.

I test drove the Escape to compare it to the Captiva...the Escape had no get up & go compared to the Captiva & it felt a bit sluggish. It also rode a bit more like a "truck" not as smooth. That was due to the different suspensions my dealer said. All in all a nice vehicle but not what I wanted to drive on a daily basis.
