I LOVE MY CAR BECAUSE IT IS FUEL EFFICIENT, IT HAS A LOT OF TRUNK SPACE AND THAT IT HAS BUILT IN SINC AND THAT IT SHOW HOW MANY MILES I CAN DRIVE BEFORE I NEED TO FILL UP AGAIN.

Very discouraged, took it back 3 times, when backing up would sound like jumping out of gear grind sound, couldn't find anything, cruise worked half the time, used very little, sounds like transmission is going out they put a solenoid in, runs rough, 49,484

Mine was a base model. Ran well, made the drive from Texas to Colorado and back a few times completely packed with kids, dog and luggage with no problems. Unfortunately learned the side airbags work well :'(

I do like this car, but the gas tank is much smaller than expected. Other han that it sides smoothly and is super comfy!

Most people are not aware that the Ford Escape comes in a two wheel front drive in addition to the four wheel drive option (SE Model). Check the numbers, you save anywhere from $3,000 to $4,000 dollars by purchasing the SE front wheel drive model. That was great for all of us since the 70's on until the 4WD became popular. They are a hard to find but have all the creature comforts and handling features of the 4WD model. Check it out!

PROS: Drives great! Nice feel and very responsive power-wise, brakes & steering. Very nice exterior styling... looks fantastic! Comfortable adjustable back seats w/good view. Enough leg room back there for most people under 5' 9". Back seats fold down easily for add'l cargo space. Love the "trip set" instrument feature and back-up camera. CONS: Driver's seat has a cramped-feeling with center console way too high and the seat itself a bit too much of a bucket! Would like more room to change position somewhat on long drives but feel I'm forced to sit straight like a mannequin. Center console is too wide and too tall to be convenient. It's difficult to reach over to put things on the floor. NO storage space for the driver. Center console box is too small to hold anything much. All that space taken up by the center console and no real advantage from it! Overall, not enough storage space anywhere. No pouch on back of driver's seat. No space for storage under front seats with large cables there! No viable space in with spare tire... just tiny little holes that nothing fits into! Very disappointed in lack of storage space. The other thing I'm finding hard to get used to is the deep well in the floorboard that you have to step into / out of... floor of vehicle isn't flat enough for a comfortable entry/exit for many people. Overall, I like the car, but would definitely get something with a little more interior space next time I buy.

We have a deluxe model because it has several upgrades. My arms can't lift any more, so we have the automatic rear door opening and other upgrades.

I go car shopping once in a blue moon, so picking a vehicle that fits my needs and budget is very important to me and I do a lot of research on cost to value, reliability and price.

Wonderful SUV for the price. Easy to drive, comfortable to ride in/drive, quiet, looks good, good gas mileage and reliable.

It rides smoothly even on rough roads. It is very comfortable and plenty room to move around. It drives great on the highway and easy on gas.
