Sporty Look
We traded in our Prius for a 2017 Ford Escape with 8000 miles. Going from 60 mpg to around 24 mpg was a shock, to say the least. But we knew that when we bought the car. It's got a nice look and handles well so far. My biggest complaint is the rough, bouncy ride. It has those sleek, somewhat thinner tires and I've been advised that if I change out the tires, it will probably ride smoother. I hope so!

Biggest disappointment in a car ever.
I purchased my 2017 Escape 1.5 L. Titanium in Oct 2016. I was happy with it for the first few months. Then the problems started. The door handles would stick up keeping the door from staying shut. You had to put the door handles down yourself. The dealership had to order parts and fixed that problem. Next the Check Engine light came on and would not go off. A sensor was bad and had to be replaced. Now it is 5/2019 with 52,000 miles and it has had 2 episodes where I was stopped and had to accelerate fast and it left a cloud of blue smoke. On another occasion, my son was driving it and had to accelerate fast and the Check Engine light started blinking and it bogged down then finally started to accelerate and the light went off. Took it to the dealership today and they cannot find out what is wrong with it. Also, I drive about 25,000 miles a year and now with the current mileage, the car is not quite worth half of the $32,500 I paid for it. Unless something major happens to change my mind, I will NEVER own another FORD vehicle. Did not expect such a quick decline in value after only 2 years. Would recommend you read reviews and buy some other vehicle.

Small Comfy SUV
This car rode so smooth! It is easy to navigate and I can see easily without anything blocking my vision. It is perfect for the two of us. Plenty of room for storing things in the back and the tinted windows keeps people from seeing in. Love It!

Just what I needed
I owned a 2010 for 10 years and this new model 2017 seems pretty good for my needs. It has all the features I had in the previous model plus more so I am satisfied with it.

Comfortable suv
Plenty of leg room, lots of bells and whistles. Plenty of pep for a 4 cylinder. Storage spaces good, spare tire good size, good sound system. I commute 80 miles round trip daily and the savings in gas will come close covering my car payment.

This car is great for the family.
This car is reliable. I look forward to purchasing another soon. I love the color, which is a Ruby Red. Red is my favorite color. When I decide to purchase another vehicle I shall return to this location.

Need more space
This vehicle needs more legroom for the driver and the backseat area needs more room. It's okay for people that I know but for people that are older it's not the ideal vehicle. I am 58 years of age and I am not very comfortable in this vehicle.

Two years no problems year then....
I’ve leased my 2017 Escape for two years now. The only problems I had with it were a remote key fob that didn’t work. At the two and a half year mark at 14,000 miles the check engine light comes on. Code reading shows a bad coil in the no. One cylinder. Dealer fixed it. Four days later light on again this time it’s the number 4 cylinder. Good no more problems i like the car but the eco engine is woefully underpowered. Takes Forever to get it going. Space is good and I wish I had gotten the sync 3 entertainment system but sync is ok All in all it’s nit bad but to make it better you have go go up in trim and of course price I will not purchase or lease it again.

Excellent mid-size SUV
Very well designed, for safety, comfort, features, roominess, and looks. We are very happy with what we got for a price that is within our budget.

So far 2017 Ford Escape is Reliable
Found out if we turn the traction control off we get 33 mpg. The vehicle rides nice. Not as much room as our Windstar had, but still pretty nice and seats 4 comfortable and can seat 5. Got the aspirated engine as wanting nothing to do with the turbo. Have not had that long, bought used with around 18K miles, but so far pleased with the vehicle. Nothing fancy, the S model, but seems to be decent transportation.
