2017 Ford Escape consumer reviews

I was told the original designed block had cylinder sleaves which crack allowing coolant to migrate into the cylinder, the new block was on back order and it too almost 2 months to get my car back. I don't have any confidence in this car.

I purchased from a ford dealership a used Ford escape 2.0 ecoboost with 33,000 miles on it in July 2018. I am a 70 yo woman who is obssessive with car maintenance and my car is in a garage when not being driven. In the past year I put 8000 miles on the car. ON or around June 20, 2019 , the dealership informed me that I need a new motor due to a leaking head gasket. They promised to have the car fixed by this date (7/11) but i did not hear from them . So I called and now have been told that the motor will not be available until 7/31 or later. No one at ford has offered a loaner nor a rental car. I phone customer service today and procurred a rental myself. Thanks ford for all you do and please don't anyone buy an ecoboost engine.

Gas mileage is great . Very comfortable SUV . Just the right size . Pretty color . I have had many compliments on it from people.

I LOVE my car! Simply the best car I have every owned! Very sleek, stylish and sporty, not to mention reliable! Interior is a perfect design. I can't think of one thing I would change about my car except maybe adding in a sunroof and cooling seats which may be the only two features I don't have. LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!

It meets the expectations I had when I bought it so. I have driven it over a thousand miles. Getting a spare key was a lot of effort and cost. Finally got one for about $150.00. Good Car.

We bought our 2017 Ford Escape Platinum May of 2017. It is the wife's primary car. It now has about 20k miles. Zero problems, drives like a dream. Wife prior car was a Camry. No going back for her, she loves the Escape. Super easy hop in and go utility vehicle. Mixed driving currently yielding 25.6 mpg with the ecoboost 2.0. Strong smooth motor. Only complaint is small gas tank. 15 gallon tank? Really? Ford put a 20 gallon tank on this SUV! Overall outstanding problem free, glitch free vehicle.

The driver's seat is the command center with Sync3, large display, intuitive controls including power lumbar, tilt, back angle seat settings. Ford made a lot of changes for the better with this and succeeding model years.

So far I really like this car. It has everything I had been looking for with plenty of room for me and a lot of safety features. First time I've owned this age of a vehicle so I am quite thrilled with all of the extras. I've only driven it for about 2 weeks so I have not had it very long, but if it continues to run the way it has so far, I am very pleased.

This car met and exceeded all of my needs all thanks to Blake Schindler. My car was totaled and he found me the same exact car (which is what I wanted) within days and the car is PERFECT!

Nothing to complain about; a great all around SUV!!!!!!!!!! Don't hesitate in buying this SUV, it is a quality built Ford product! We love this SUV, and it is awesome!!!!!!
